Dang! These prostitutes can really change clothes quickly.
Must be professionals.

Hey, sorry for my absence. Due to some unexpected changes out here in the "real world," I will be unable to post for a couple of weeks. Apologies to those on missions with me. Please NPC me or whatever you need to do.
Re: Eyes at the Threshold (ooc and questions IX)
Thanks for the heads up, Pal. I hope all is well and that you're back with us soon.

It's known that in Medieval times they wore Leslie Nielsen style tear-away outfits with other outfits underneath.

Interesting factoid: (I found this online, so it MUST be true) Leslie Nielsen had no sense of humor. That's why he was so good in his comedic roles- he never got the jokes, so he was able to play it straight all the time.

He was a well-known practical joker who liked to prank people with a hand-controlled fart machine. His tombstone even references that, saying "Let 'er rip."
Sometimes this summer I will most likely be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.

I will be away from the boards for a couple days, and might have some spotty internet connections for the next couple of weeks.
I will try to keep up with the game as best I can, but expect a considerably slower pace from me until around the 20th. Please NPC accordingly.

Sorry Socratic. There was a crowd of unsavory men outside the Cross Keys, and then you all split the party.

And the mere fragment of one of my favorite RPG maps of all time is courtesy Bob Bledsaw and Bill Owen's classic 'City State of the Invincible Overlord', published by Judge's Guild in 1977.

Is there anyone else in the alley besides Urdur, Jerome, and Bold Dell? I'm considering an attempt at Hypnotism to get him to divulge what he knows.
How do we know you're not a donkey-brained man?

...not that Urdur could tell at that moment.

Constitution 12 [1d20+4]=3+4=7 I assume that fails and Faron is blinded. If not, he'll withdraw rather than attacking.

Con 11 [1d20]=20
Hey guys,
An Attribute Check is sort of the opposite of a saving throw. You want to roll low; in this case, your CON or lower. The higher the attribute, the easier it is to make the roll. So Mouser fails critically, and Faron saves.
Never part of AD&D 1e, Attribute Checks were included in adventure modules since 1979 and codified in Moldvay's Basic rules.

Hi Socratic,
Hypnotism's spell description refers to the spell, Suggestion which limits commands to two sentences or less. I went with your first two sentences.

Hey everyone,
And on that chilling cliffhanger, we'll pause the game for the holidays.
Thanks everyone for another fun year of gaming. Best holiday wishes to you and your families. See you on the other side.
The stars are right! Merry winter solstice! Ai! Ai!
