I'm super busy, can only post tomorrow!

Feel free to move things along!
Ingrid agrees to hide in the abandoned barn (offered by Avril), because she finds it less conspicuous, than the old inn. Less creepy as well, maybe - too much people were slain at the Foaming Mug.

Sorry!

No problem, Fulci. Thanks for the heads up.

Hi folks.

I'm about to take my annual pilgrimage to Madison to take part in the best local table top gaming convention around.

https://www.gameholecon.com

I will still try to check in periodically but if I don't, you know why. Thanks.

I'm headed back to my old stomping grounds - The Windy City - for a long weekend. I'm going to eat and drink my way through town so won't be too active over the next three days.

I have a feeling I will not a be a very popular player for some reason. At least not in games where the DM is a former player. :(

Still lots of RL stuff to do :( I will write a reaction tomorrow in the evening, but in the meantime:

Long Bo and the Mouser need healing.
I have one more Cure light wounds, so Ariel can heal one of them, and I aid the other.

OR, given that the Mouser is on a measly 1 HP (while Bo is on 5),
Ariel should heal the Mouser, and if the roll is not very good, Ingrid will use Cure on the Mouser as well, to bring him to a manageable amount of points.

Inferno wrote:Are the watch positions inside the barn? Outside the barn? Both?
I'm assuming, based on the following, that Telkis will watch the north side of the barn, and Avril will watch the south, occasionally repositioning her location. Unless there's something that draws her out, Avril intends on performing her watch from inside the barn.
ChubbyPixie wrote:"I'll volunteer for first watch, who'll watch with me? You more injured people should get some rest first." says Telkis. He'll get out his bow and positions himself in the shadows looking out the large door to the North. He'll avoid closing any open shutters or doors, or opening any closed ones, so that from the outside the barn will look exactly as it did before they entered.

Bo will be happy to take whichever watch works best for the spell casters.

Yeah, we are taking the watches inside the barn, of course.

No problem. The two summaries I linked are a good start. Also, this game's art thread, which is inadvertently turning into a picture book of the adventure. A gory, horrific picture book.
Fulci wrote:Yeah, we are taking the watches inside the barn, of course.
Ok. I just saw Telkis saying that. I try not to assume too much. Thanks for the clear clarifications. :)
Speaking of clarifications, if you guys don't want to devise a night watch order, I'll randomly roll one (after the first watch, which was listed out).
Thanks.

So far our guideline for watch order is
1) casters sleep as much as they need for their spells to replenish, take late watches,
2) non-casters take the watched in the middle of the night.

We watch from inside the barn (I presume it has enough holes in the walls to serve as portholes), to avoid drawing unneeded attention to our hiding place. Hopefully the rain will help too.

Bo will try to dry his armor along with his other possessions while we rest/sleep. Leaving him in only his loincloth.

Pelias will take any watch, preferring that the spellcasters are spread out amongst the shifts to help neutralize any threat.
