Ruh roh, he thinks to the others, unable to avoid falling into a common trope. Armed guards to the northwest!

Raven "Guards? It's ok, I think we have a hostage." He sets the unconscious guard down in front of the group. "I think they took more than my memories if I am not acting human... I will try though... If the goop is the same then I think that same guy is in charge."

Maximillian Arikas [Aether]:

"Guards to the Northwest, hmmm, obviously they bunched there to protect something or to keep us from getting in further."

Steve Sanderson [Flicker]:

"I don't think the guard as a hostage will work if these guards are professionals."

"i can try transporting behind them. What i'll do i don't know yet."

"I think Steve has the right idea about this. If we can sneak around them, say... over the machinery and directly to the northwest corner, it would save us a lot of trouble dealing with bullets and who knows what else. I can skate up there with my ice, and I think Raven can teleport up there too, assuming he can see the top of the machine. I don't know about the rest of you though. You are all still a mystery to me..." Permafrost seems to like Steve's idea and says that she can use her ice to great extent.

Steve Sanderson [Flicker]:

Steve will go ahead & try to teleport to a suitable location that he can spot, behind the guards & will wait for Permafrost & Raven before proceeding & making sure the guards don't know they are back there.

S.C.A.M.P. acts as watchdog until the party implements its plan. He'll try to stay on the periphery where he can use mental tricks if needed.

In regards to reaching the northwest corner of the chemical plant/factory, a place of current interest to the group, there are multiple ways of going about this while using your super powers.

Aether is capable of controlling the air and wind around him to be used for multiple things, like lifting up to a ton's worth of weight, including himself along with it. He could easily lift the whole group over if they can trust him with this, but that is only assuming Pyro rolls a success for the power use of Elemental Control.

Permafrost has the power of ice and can manipulate it into any shape that she wish, used for defense, offence, and other useful utilities. She will need to have a high success though when generating ice to be able to use all of it to lift the group. The success of using the ice is also dependent on her Elemental Control ability as welll, seperate from her Elemental Generation of ice. So it would be a two step process, maybe three if there is a failed attempt somewhere in between. Using the ice for herself, she can easily skate across the air leaving an ice trail behind if she wished.

Both Steve and Raven have access to teleportation, though in different methods of usage. Steve relies on a disc based teleportation gun that requires him to have a flat surface and a direct line of sight for it to work. Raven also needs a clear visual of the area he is teleporting to, but is not limited to a gun. It is also worth noting that Raven can technically use other means to reach the area in question, but due to him keeping it a secret, whether intentionally or not, the option is not viable right now. These abilities also rely on a successful roll for them to work.

Scamp, though not shown in battle so far in front of the group, is capable of jumping large distances or heights with relative ease using Super Leap. It's the landing part that is hard to pull off.

In most cases here, a roll for success will need to be made before you do anything using your abilities. How you choose to use them, whether in conjuction with others is up to you.

*****

If Steve is going to use his teleportation disc gun to reach the northwest corner of the area, he will need to use high ground to get a good line of sight for his gun. The catwalk directly in front of the entrance might do the trick.

In regards to Raven's other abilities, half is kept secret and the other half is unknown to him... yet. I am looking for a cool way to introduce it to my character.

Raven heads over to the catwalk to get a visual of the area and attempts to teleport.

Teleportation 40: [1d100] = 9

Well then....

Raven concentrates but for some reason cannot focus on the area, stunning himself and possibly drooling slightly.

Will Scamp join Aether in his group teleport? (nice rolls by the way!)

Steve uses his disc gun to position himself on top of a large piece of machinery just overlooking the northwestern corner of the factory/plant. Though he is not directly behind the guards, which are guarding the northeastern corner, he is well out of their sight. Aether manages to also transport himself along with Scamp and Permafrost across a ferry of air. The process is instantaneous, and the experience is like you are on a roller coaster for a brief second, without the nausea.

Raven stumbles backwards onto his bum as his teleportation failed once again today. Perhaps he is over exerting himself? He cannot say for sure. Perhaps his ability is more like a muscle, something that needs to be trained to make better use of.

What does the group do now? They are up above, on top of a large piece of machinery and have avoided detection so far. Raven is still on the catwalk in a dazed state. Permafrost has seen this before and cannot help but snicker a bit, covering her mouth as she does so.

Once Raven regains his wits he will attempt to teleport again.

Teleportation 40: [1d100] = 16

Stunning himself even further possibly. Perhaps he will need to take a break from teleporting...

What will the rest of the group do? Most of you are on top of a piece of machinery that is overlooking the northwestern corner of the facility. The guards currently do not notice you or your plans, and upon looking down in the corner, all you find is some crates, old machinery and other factory debris. If there is an entrance there, it will take some digging around to find it.

Oh geez!

Maximillian Arikas [Aether]:

Was going to wait for a signal from Flicker, to come down after Steve had a look around.

S.C.A.M.P. stays in watchdog mode. Anyone have a plan for taking these guys out? he thinks to the others. Or do we try to search without being detected?

Does S.C.A.M.P. smell anything unusual?

"I'd rather not pick any fights if I don't have to," says Permafrost in a soft whisper. "Though I don't know about Raven...."

The heavy smell of chemicals still hangs in the air, heavy for Scamp at least with this sensitive nose.

The group goes through a serious of teleportation attempts, most of which of lands them in a state of dizziness or disc misfires instead. Raven manages to rejoin the group after his second attempt, and Scamp is able to determine that the smell of chemicals is mixed into the air all around them, the chemical vats nearby naturally emitting stronger smells. The group is now together and is thinking of exploring the crates and surrounding area in the northwestern corner.
