S.C.A.M.P. concentrates on the mind of one of the guards carrying rifles. The intruders are powerful and scary! Holy crap, is that a ROCKET LAUNCHER? Run away!! The robo-dog tries to manipulate the guard's mind so that the guard drops his rifle and runs away in fear.

Steve Sanderson [Flicker]:

Steve seeing an opportunity, quickly kneels to the floor & peaks from behind the door into the office (still in shrunken state).
If there is a camera he will use his teleport gun & fire a disc that is just past or under it, leaving only his hand with the gun visible to cam.

The supers are quick to act as the guards start to gather around them. Raven and Permafrost both retreat to behind some debris that is cluttering the floor. Permafrost starts to generate a layer of ice on the ground in front of them, preparing for her next move[1d100] = 18 (the roll shows that she did not generate enough ice and will need to try again next round), meanwhile, Raven visualizes himself behind one of the guards with a rifle raised and pointed. Within the blink of an eye, he appears behind him and then performs an awesome looking karate chop to the back of the guard's head, effectively knocking him out, all the while propping up his rocket launcher on his shoulder.
Raven's rocket launcher pose.jpg
Raven's rocket launcher pose.jpg (277.1 KiB) Viewed 486 times
Raven is sort of posed like this ;)

Scamp takes advantage of this and plants some thoughts of fear into one of the guard's minds, adding to the fear that is probably already there! "Holy S@#T!! Did he just... is that a F@#$%^G ROCKET LAUNCHER!?!" The guard tosses his gun aside and starts to run away from Raven, who happens to be right in front of him. The communicators on the guards are blazing with shouts and chaos now, especially after the man mentioned a rocket launcher over the channel.

Aether, not quite ready to go on the offensive, creates a barrier of condensed air in front of the group, halting any attacks or incoming guards that may try to come their way.

****
As Steve peers around the corner of the open door, in his shrunken state, he notices that there is indeed a camera and it appears to be on and functioning. With the careful aim of his gun [1d100] = 51, he successfully fires a beacon onto the wall right underneath the camera and teleports to the spot successfully.

A general look around the room reveals that the room he is in is a waiting lounge, with a few chairs strewn about, a coffee table with a few magazines, and a water tank full of drinking water. To your right, you can spot another door. To your great fortune, this one was also left wide open, though the door is open against you, blocking immediate entrance.

End of Round 1
Battle Results: The group wins initiative and works together as a group for the first time. Permafrost takes cover behind some debris and tries to generate enough ice for an attack, she finds her ability to do so lacking at the moment. Aether provides some defense for the group, unseen though for they do not know of his abilities. Raven makes use of his teleportation martial arts and takes out a guard quickly and efficiently without killing. Scamp manipulates the mind of the already surprised guard and forces him to flee in fear, dropping his assault rifle. Raven then collects the rifle.

No damage has been taken and two guards are currently out of commission. The group as a whole does not know how many guards are left. Go ahead and roll for any actions and state them clearly please.

Raven watches the guard run away, confused as to why everyone is so upset at Daisy. Raven slings the rifle over his shoulder in case he needs it later and scans the area for where the other guards are. Now that he has something he can use at a range Raven has decided that he no longer needs to be running around hitting people, remember the fiasco at the complex he doesn't really feel like getting that hurt again. Raven heads over to the walling, or some place that will conceal him for the moment and then uses his power to head back to ground level, behind some large obstacles.

Maximillian Arikas [Aether]:

Max would send a burst of air towards any guard that walked over the ice patch or came at them!

Steve Sanderson [Flicker]:

Seeing that this is just a lounge area, decides to look through the other door to see where that leads.

If he has to grow taller first to get to the floor, he will do so, then shrink back down again before looking past the other door.

I updated my latest post with Aether's actions and a quick recap. Pyro, I was a bit confused by your last statement with Steve. Shall I provide a map of the room you are in to help better explain your situation? You are currently against a wall, parallel to the door to the office. You are underneath a camera and you are right next to another door that happens to be open. It is opened against you, meaning that you cannot directly look into the next room without going around the door.

I was thinking that maybe i teleported on top of a table/counter & would need to grow in height first before i could go around the door to see where it leads.

Ah, I see now! I originally had the table in the center of the room. I probably should have specified that. You are currently on the floor. The camera appears stationary and has its focus on the main door to the office. If you were to sneak around the door in your current state, you could manage it in about one round, without raising any detection.

I will wait to see what Zhym does next with this character, then I will officially explain what happens in round 2 :)

Please refer to the map while I explain things.

The guard near the control panel finally shows himself and opens fire on the group near the entrance, however, Aether's air barrier knocks the bullets to the ground, effectively rendering the assualt rifle attack useless. Permafrost finally generates a large amount of ice, and covers the main walkways to the front entrance with it. Raven attempts to teleport back to the ground, but fails due to lack of concentration. Scamp, not wanting to show himself yet, remains hidden and probes the minds of those nearby, hoping to figure out what the enemies are thinking. Only the guards in the immediate area come out clearly. The one shooting at the group is dumbfounded by the realization that the bullets were knocked out of the air. Another, coming from the north, starts to slow down and hide behind some floor clutter, noticing the strange ice formation on the ground.

Steve carefully slips around the door in his shrunken state, entering the next room without any trouble. He find a desk in the middle of the room, with a computer and a bunch of wooden drawers. There is a floorplan of the chemical plant hanging up on the wall and a couple of potted plants sitting in their respective corners. This is all you can see from your vantage point.

End of Round 2
Battle Results: Enemies won initiative, but Aether was able to deflect the only enemy attack this round with his air barrier. Raven is still on the catwalk, a bit dazed from his failed teleportation and Permafrost successfully sets up an ice slick for future use. Scamp is able to determine that two guards are nearby, one of which is waiting for the ice to dissapear, hidden. Steve manages to get inside the main office room. Go ahead and roll for initiative, state your actions, all that good stuff.

Steven Sanderson [Flicker]:

Grows back to normal height.

Steve will look quickly through the desk drawers, look to see what's on the desk, look at computer screen, look at floor plan.
Would look around/ under both plants if there was time.

Raven, not sure why his concetration would become blurry all of a sudden decides on another course of action. Slinging daisy over his shoulder he holds up the rifle that he just acquired, his body bringing the gun to perfect form as if he has handled this type of weapon many times before, he decides to ignore this and just let his muscle memory do its job. He then carefully gets into a good cover on the catwalk, assuming a low stance and looking for any of the guards. If he see's any he will open fire in controlled short bursts.

Yes. The guard is intelligent enough to know what he is hiding behind. It would just be a matter of reading his thoughts to figure that out.

Scamp decides to work directly with the other supers and relays to them information on the guard's hiding spot to the north. Raven, still on the catwalk above, drops down to a crouched position and goes to the ledge looking over the hiding guard. He fires a burst of shots from his slinged assault rifle, but they lack accuracy and fire all over the place, missing the guard.

Back at the front entrance, Permafrost makes use of her patented Ice Sickled Strike, skewering the guard in legs, forcing him to drop to the ground, losing his weapon in the process. Using the leftover ice vapors on the ground, Aether summons forth a gust of powerful wind, blowing the vapors towards an approaching man with a handgun. The effect is great and he freezes in place, collapsing to the ground paralyzed.

Steve does a quick check off the office room while all of this is occuring. Looking through the drawers, he finds faded and worn notebooks full of old transactions. Transactions of what you don't know; you suspect it may have something to do with the black market. The papers on the desk look like a bunch of memos written in short hand, some baring insignia's and fully typed out. The computer screen features a game of Galaga. The man's ship just blew up. The potted plants reveal nothing but the floorplan mounted on the wall shows an important clue. There is an area in the northwestern corner of the plant that is circled.

End of Round 3
Battle Results: Supers win initiative. Scamp spots the hiding man. Raven misses his target while using the assault rifle. Permafrost takes down a guard, and Aether does the same. Steve finds a plethora of information in the office during his search. There is no more ice on the ground for Permafrost to manipulate.

Raven, deciding that the hidden guard may become a problem, uses his power to send himself behind the guard, then using the rifle to take him out.

Teleportation 40: [1d100] = 79
Initiative: [1d100+50] = 43+50 = 93, To Hit: [1d100] = 38

Steve Sanderson [Flicker]:

Steve will take at least one of the Notebooks & a couple of the memos on top of the desk, & stick them in the notebook & note the area on the floor plan in the northwestern corner of the plant.

After that Steve will proceed out of the back office, & look out the door staying away from camera view & teleport to whatever he can see from there that is behind some cover.
