11-Skullport-Trip 2- After the Fat Man!
Re: 11-Skullport-Trip 2- After the Fat Man!
"Panicked! I wounded the real Fatman and then infiltrated his hideout. I tracked him to his inner sanctum, and engaged him and his men while he tried to collect his treasure and escape. Even outnumbered 5 to 1 I still fought him. I only stopped because they were going to escape and...you know what? Forget it. You made a mess of this thing. You."
Re: 11-Skullport-Trip 2- After the Fat Man!
I'm confused did we see Garl? I though he was invisible the whole time. Did he have improved invisibility potion?
Re: 11-Skullport-Trip 2- After the Fat Man!
OOC - You did not see Garl. He was not with the party. And when he was no longer invisible he quaffed another potion (more than once).

Tantos Vek, failed paladin:
The smile soon sours. Having had his fill of Garl's self-absorbed whining, Vek bites his tongue and walks the camp perimeter on first watch.
"Yeah. You screamed "Run you fools, you've killed us all!" when the Fatman's illusion was exposed. Remember?" Vek grins blackly, despite it all.ylinett wrote:"Panicked!"

Re: 11-Skullport-Trip 2- After the Fat Man!
Glimble stands up frustrated just a bit "I let Forrest down. Now can you all just stop with this back and forth who cares who is to blame. I certainly don't all I know is I may have lost yet another friend. I'd like to go back and look for him if I can. However by the time we can get there once more I fear that if Forrest did survive he is likely being sold as a slave. Or who knows raised as a zombie. All I know for sure is that our plan worked however the fat man was underestimated. In turn we did harm his little facility in skullport. He'll likely be either on the run or out for revenge soon. Our time here might be soon at an end."

Ooc- hey guys, I'm feeling a bit like Sheldon from Big Bang, having difficulties understanding if you guys are really upset or just RPing it.
If the emotions are running real, don't put too much pressure on yourselves, you guys went up against a serious foe with an army on his side. You killed a flesh golem, and 3 or 4 lesser stone golems, and most or all of the fat mans inner circle.
On the logistics side, do u post a watch through the night?

I'm not at all upset in RL just all RP on my part. Yes we should do a watch though Glimble will need the time for prayer and rest to regain spells same with our mages.

Rp - But Garl is super pissed.
Re: 11-Skullport-Trip 2- After the Fat Man!
RP too.
Carrying the weight of so many sins already, Vek isn't going to also bear the burden of things he's not responsible for.
Vek is on first watch.

Glimble walks over to Vek "You bare a heavy weight my friend, I wish to tell you I don't blame anyone for what has happened so please don't burden yourself with the actions of others." the gnome hopes this helps the once holy warrior. Then the gnome smiles at Vek and goes back to rest and gray to Gond.

I agree that we should look for Forrest, but I don't have a high expectation that we would find him. Like Glimble says, something nefarious has likely befallen him. Still as our comrade, I think we should do something....

Re: 11-Skullport-Trip 2- After the Fat Man!
OK, so you settle in for the night setting up a rotating watch allowing the casters to get enough sleep to reset spells.
Just before dawn, Tella is on watch. Her spells have been reset, and then her elf ears pick up the slightest cracking from out in the woods, it seemed like nothing but then she hears it again but slightly farther away. Both noises were closer then the noises of rabbit and squirrel that she has been hearing.

Tella - Elf Mage
Tella will quietly slip over to Vek, putting her hand on his shoulder: We have company.... She will repeat the same with as many of her comrades as possible given the time.
