Have a fun vacation—but that's what you give us before a ten-day break? Boo!

Or watching a season finale episode of The X-Files.OGRE MAGE wrote:
I'm still FURIOUS about the ending of Season Ten. Such bullsh*t. They should have made an interesting, nostalgic, yet self-contained "mini-season", with a beginning and an end. Instead - one good episode (the were-monster), a couple of 'okay' ones, and awful final "episode".Starbeard wrote:Or watching a season finale episode of The X-Files.
Completely agree. The best thing about the new season is that it got me back into watch the old ones, really. Having gone back, I felt season 10 stylistically had most in common with the later post-movie seasons, and drew from the best and worst of seasons 6-9. I thought the were-monster episode was great, the other side cases were okay but nothing special, and the bookend episodes that dealt with the mythos were just terrible. With only 6 episodes, I would've preferred they either went entirely with monster of the week stories, or used all six episodes to slowly draw the main plotline out.Fulci wrote:I'm still FURIOUS about the ending of Season Ten. (Sorry for ranting!)

Here's what you know about your mysterious foes...
- The strange, old hermit claims there are three dens of evil in Briarsgate: the Golden Grain Inn, the old Foaming Mug Inn, and the Church of Merikka.
The enemy raised villagers from the dead and condemned them to everlasting undeath. If the heroes had slain more villagers at the first battle at the inn, would they have faced more zombies later?
You found an evil shrine to a horrific serpentine reptile god in the tunnels beneath the Golden Grain Inn. Undead creatures in league with the enemy seem to worship this evil thing.
Here's what they know about you:...
- They know Moogeye escaped imprisonment just before the Golden Grain Inn burned to the ground.
