Unspeakable Oaths (ooc and questions ll)
Re: Unspeakable Oaths (ooc and questions ll)
Telkis is facing South. On any map without a direction arrow or compass points, please assume North is the top of the page. Thanks.ChubbyPixie wrote: What direction are we facing?
Fyi, Telkis needs more light to inspect the tunnel properly. His light source is 20 feet away, and the tunnel curves down and southwest into shadow after just 10 feet.
Yes.OGRE MAGE wrote:Is the breeze still blowing from the tunnel?
Re: Unspeakable Oaths (ooc and questions ll)
Telkis the gnome is in metal armor. You might mean Hoom the elf?dmw71 wrote:Avril
"Perhaps Telkis and I could scout out ahead a short distance instead of having everyone advance en masse...
"Neither of us wear metal armor..."
Fyi, at the bottom of each of my major posts is a Status run-down that includes name, class and AC of each character, with links to their character sheets.

Re: Unspeakable Oaths (ooc and questions ll)
My bad. I did look at the character sheets, and the marching order, and I meant to single out Mouser, not Telkis, but Telkis was first in the marching order and I must have confused the two when posting.Inferno wrote:Telkis the gnome is in metal armor. You might mean Hoom the elf?
Since it seems scouting ahead isn't in the plans, it's a non-issue.

Thanks. Fyi, Mouser is a half-elf who appears human.
Also...
Starbeard, please post Moogeye's sheet in the Character Sheet thread.
Thanks!

Also...
Everyone, please join me in welcoming Starbeard, another of my very talented DMs, to the game. Starbeard is playing Moogeye Comcra, human monk.Fulci wrote:Ingrid Esthof, cleric
She turns to Moogeye: "The town is infested by cultists. If they see you, they will put you back inside that cage. Your best option is to stay with us. We cannot guarantee complete safety either... but it is better than what the cult has in mind for you."

Starbeard, please post Moogeye's sheet in the Character Sheet thread.
Thanks!

Thanks, everyone. And apologies for the bloody nose, playing blind certainly has its disadvantages!

The Golden Grain basement: the best place in Briarsgate for recruiting new party members, just pick the lock on one of the cages! All races & classes! Weapons conveniently stored nearby!

Welcome Starbeard!!!
I don't believe we have had the pleasure of gaming together on here before. If Inferno refers to you as another of his talented DM's, that is saying quite a lot. So.....
Looking forward to some fun together. (if any of us survive this nightmare, that is)

It slopes downward. If you find where I misspoke, please send me a link so that I can fix it. Thanks.ChubbyPixie wrote:Telkis Brassfang, Gnome Fighter
I thought it said in an earlier post that this passage slopes upward? Is that the case? If it's not obvious, Telkis would like to try to discern which way it goes.
No light sources among the group that enter the tunnel?

I think you're right, we've just managed to slip by each other in which games we're playing and when. I'm glad to finally get a chance to game in the same adventure for once!
Re: Unspeakable Oaths (ooc and questions ll)
Thanks everyone, for the timely replies.
I'll move the game forward on Monday. I still need answers to these questions, please:
If I don't hear different by Monday, I'll proceed with that. Thanks.

Currently, the 3 PCs remaining in the stone dungeon have 2 light sources, and the 6 PCs entering the earthen tunnel have none.Inferno wrote:

Re: Unspeakable Oaths (ooc and questions ll)
Also, does it make sense to put Moogeye one row from the back with her pole arm? I case we get attacked from that direction, she could attack from the second rank?

Grothnak didn't expect to have Nerf Infravision. :p

Re: Unspeakable Oaths (ooc and questions ll)
As of right now we have tow lanterns lit. Bo and Hoom. Bo has his and Hoom gave my lantern to Mouser. Mouser is staying behind with Hoom and Bo so he passed it to the closest person who is entering the tunnel.
