Howie's Speakeasy - "Come on in"
Re: Howie's Speakeasy - "Come on in"
Hey guys,
I'm glad the game is still moving along. Wish I could come back, but there's still too much happening to return. My first book is on sale at Amazon from today through the 9th. It's a medieval fantasy, with the second and third parts taking inspiration from Lovecraft. More importantly, it's a tale of falling and rising again, of tripping and climbing back to where you need to be. What brought you down hasn't gone away, but you can fight on, knowing that you aren't alone, the Father stands with you.

I'll have to get that monopoly game. I wonder what Lovecraft would think about the state of his creations today.

Glad you're checking in Frank. Perhaps one day Harold can return. Good luck on the book writing!

Please welcome FantasyChic and GreywolfVT to our sprawling campaign! They are playing Josephine Clark, English professor and amateur sleuth, and private eye Gordon Pym respectively. (Yes, Gordon is the great-grandson of Arthur Gordon Pym of Edgar Allan Poe's novel.) Please welcome and say a prayer for them.

- Edith actually didn't go with the others to Red Hook.
Where did she go? Back to Arkham or is she still in Providence?

OK.
I've hit a busy spell so my posts are not as frequent as I like. Hopefully will change soon.

Oh is that who that is? I tried to find a picture that wasn't a Hollywood glamour shot but there wasn't much in the way of blondes.

Here's a less glamorous blonde, from 1939:

Miss Unsafe Brakes!
Or here's a weird one with Carole Lombard and her reflection:

Or you can go with the cool glamour of Marlene Dietrich:

Thanks for the welcome there folks. Perhaps I'll manage to stave off insanity for a bit eh?

I'm travelling for the next couple of weeks, so my posts will probably be short and intermittent. If you have to move things along please feel free to NPC Marius.
Re: Howie's Speakeasy - "Come on in"
Something only a pulp horror reader will understand. My wife heard something the other night and woke me up with:
"Frank, I hear something. I think it's in the walls."
That was one of the few times I went from fully asleep to fully awake in 0.2 seconds.
