I have another question - if Pelias lays hands on Grothnak, will that make him mobile? Better than carrying him...and sorry Bo, but I figure a paladin will use his powers on an LG character first over a granola druid!

Hey, he eats more than granola.
Some nice bull kelp occasionally perhaps?
I agree that we you should check on the young couple

Telkis would also want to return to the nice couple's place as a next step - just trying to get us out of here and maybe healed up (a little) first.
If Pelias healed the Druid first, then the Druid could heal Grothnak? But you have a good point that he might be inclined to help the LG guy first instead of some nasty, nasty neutral forest hermit...

Re: Whispers in the Darkness (ooc and questions)
I'm assuming Grothnak can't actually act until the next update is posted.

Fyi, Mr. Kent can’t keep up with the daily-ish pace of the game anymore and regretfully had to withdraw.
RIP Vodarte; an unexpected reaction to Beswill's poison, or perhaps a bad dose.
The module recommends a party of 4-7 characters of levels 1-3, so we should be totally fine, right?

Oh no! I suspected that might be the case. But... but who will do all our rangering?

Dang.

Is it too soon to say I loot the body?
Re: Whispers in the Darkness (ooc and questions)
I wanted to try casting "Slow Poison", but then I realized that it was probably a RL issue, not an in-game oneChubbyPixie wrote:(Telkis looks to Ingrid. "Is there any spell you have that will give him more time in RL to post?!!")

It's too late for Vodarte. To work, the spell must be cast within 3 turns of the poison being imbibed, because Ingrid is 3rd level.

Ah, okay, then I'm probably modifying my last in-game post, because it won't help the Mouser either.Inferno wrote:It's too late for Vodarte. To work, the spell must be cast within 3 turns of the poison being imbibed, because Ingrid is 3rd level.

Re: Whispers in the Darkness (ooc and questions)
Where do you guys intend to regroup? In the inn or the stable?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Whispers in the Darkness (ooc and questions)
Sounds like we are thinking about searching the inn so, I guess it should be there.
Re: Whispers in the Darkness (ooc and questions)
We are about to search the inn, but I don't think it's the ideal place for resting though - the village maniacs might as well just torch it or something if they learn we are there
But let's just regroup, then we will decide.

Re: Whispers in the Darkness (ooc and questions)
I don't think anywhere in town is ideal for resting. We're as likely to be attacked in a house as in the inn IMO.

Re: Whispers in the Darkness (ooc and questions)
Except that they know we're in the inn now (because eye-patch guy got away). If we go to a house under cover of the storm they might not know we're there. That being said, I'm fine with any course of action the group chooses, and agree we should probably search the inn for clues, but it seems we might have a better chance of healing a bit if we haven't been pin-pointed.Zhym wrote:I don't think anywhere in town is ideal for resting. Re: Whispers in the Darkness (ooc and questions)
I figure that the eye patch guy is probably watching the place. If so, than it's likely we'd be followed wherever we go. But he might have gone for reinforcements. Either way, I'd assume our movements are being tracked at this point.

I'm having trouble separating fantasy from reality right now...
