Well Eirik has no horse so most likely yes and unfortunately you did not make it far before the sound of orcs invading the room you left hits you Eirik.

Okay, WTF is going on?

I did NOT sign up for PC vs PC killing…..so unless this is all some kind of illusionary, magical trickery or something; I think I'm gonna bow out.

No offense to anyone, but it's most definitely NOT my style of play. (Also, Assassins don't exist in 2E; though a Thief with a Backstab can still work in much the same way….but there's no percentage chance of instant kill…..if going by the book)

Greywolf, you're a great DM amigo; but please let me know if this is my cue to exit…..if so; then just have Lubidius flee please. Let me know.

to be 100% honest this game was not originally a player v player setup. I wasn't entirely trying to make it so. I was more or less trying to get some action back in the game. In all likely hood i should have just ended the game.

I can't speak for anyone else, but if it helps, I never thought your game was 'broken' in the slightest. I've been having fun since I joined. I guess I'm a 'stick in the mud' though when it comes to players actually attacking other players….it's never any fun for me. (I mean….somebody gets "Charmed" or something, that's one thing….but just flat out back-stabbing other players….not cool for me)

I'll say it again, you're a great DM amigo; at least as far as I'm concerned!

I am sorry if I caused any turmoil in this game. In GreyWolfVT's defense I asked him if I could join as an assassin stir up the pot a bit. So please blame me. Pc vs. Pc is not technically what it is really. I'm a player yes but more like an NPC. I was trying to join your group to take out the paladin but he suspected me from the start which made things go south fast. Never my intention to attack the whole group. One thing though, assassin's are in 2e. They are in the 2e thief's handbook as a kit, which I used to make malakon. Also in 2e , the assassination table is not in the books. It goes off the idea that you still have an use the assassination table from 1e. Assassin's are a jerky class I know. Again just trying to spice things up a bit, maybe make my character into a requiring villain NPC.

well I have a good villain but the build up to it is the hard part.

If that's cool with Greywolf and everyone else, cool; it's just not for me. You guys have a great adventure though and I know I'll be watching with extreme interest…..I hope Alanis gets to make at least a cameo…. even if its just him meeting the Rat God somewhere in the Outer Planes! :)

Take care all!

I was thinking of some sort of after life travel/adventure thing to give MW something else to do. Also I really did have the orc leader attack Alanis Trask also joined into that fight that is why both have bloody blades. it explains that whole instance to all. I hadn't told Syn that I rolled an attack roll for the orc leader a crit attack pretty bad start.

Can the characters be resurrected if bought to a temple within 3 days?

In my games I basically have it that if healing spells/potions can't bring a character to -10 & above, they have 3 days to attempt a resurrection.

there is no cleric of that skill level in Tragidor but Hanuman does have the church of Pelor so yes that is possible or as I had offered at one time anyone that wants to can make something they would rather play. So MW has that option or the other one.

Also getting to the whole alignment issue with assassins. Quote right out of the complete 2e Thief's Handbook.
Most Assassins are of evil alignment. However, it is conceivable that one might be of a neutral (but not good) alignment.

I have to agree with max. PC vs. PC combat is not for me. We had it once in a face to face game I was a part of and there were a lot of hurt feelings over it. GW, you are a great DM and it has been a pleasure running in this game, but I think it might be time to put this one to bed.

I opted out of making a new character simply because GW has intentions of ending the game soon, doesn't make a whole lot of sense to make a whole new character for the game to end just as he joins up.

I'm surprised you all want to see a cameo of Alanis or feel bad for him lol. I was sure that everyone was wary of the crazed bread mage.

GW, if you want to do some kind of afterlife Rat King thing or something with Alanis I'd be happy to play along, I'll try to make it a good read for anyone lurking

well MW it really looks like my game is ended. If anyone still wants to know what was behind all of this trouble in Tragidore I will tell you via pm the original and my version. Sorry my plan or idea totally killed the game instead of giving it more of a fire.
