Lurker ready to strike
Yo!
Been looking for more forums that do play-by-post style roleplaying, and I ended up managing to find this site after jumping through many hoops! I'm planning to lurk around and see if games end up catching my interest. I see that a lot people here like the older editions of DnD, but I was hoping to test 5e out some more. Finally multiclassing seems doable even with full casters and I am in love with the selection of cantrips. I really want to take advantage of both of those things and see where I get with a cantrip hoarder!

Welcome!! We have a two post moderation policy. But after that you are good to go to play, post without delay and PM. Enjoy the Unseen Servant!

This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.

Welcome, Parlortricks.
If you're looking for 5e, there looks to be a new game starting up soon that you might want to check out: D&D 5th: new sandbox interest?.
Otherwise, I might be your guy.
My games have been running kind of slowly (approximately one post per week) of late because life has been really hectic for me lately, but I'm hoping that slows down a bit in the very near future.
If you're looking to jump right into something, I could easily work you in.

Thank you for the kind welcome, everyone!
Perhaps, if things go well, we'll be meeting each other as players in that game!
What an offer right off the bat! I do think GMs are precious and wouldn't want to add any additional work, especially if things already are tough and busy for you. I've yet to try out a West Marches style game, but that might be a very good fit for play-by-post style. I see that one of the most dangerous things that can happen to a game is when a player disappears in the middle of something important, so perhaps this style of play helps as you can, hopefully, easily sideline them when needed and wait to see if they come back...dmw71 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 05, 2020 3:21 am If you're looking for 5e, there looks to be a new game starting up soon that you might want to check out: D&D 5th: new sandbox interest?.

Welcome aboard!
On November 2nd I will be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.
