As the beast moves past, Sparrow holds out the palm of his hand an touches the creatures large side shank. He lets his hand rub down the side of the huge lizard as it passes.

Nighttail and Huk continue to enjoy the fact they've been reunited with the kobold riding atop the giant lizard as it circles the cave it has been held captive in. "There's no way out of here," Nighttail shares. "We'll have to double back, and head south out of the cavern where we met," she explains. With Ciar, and Fulp, and Grim, and the others already filling the only exit, the group does an about-face and begins heading back to the room with the trash, with Ciar in the lead again. Continuing through the trash room and again through the previously mentioned southern exit.
Once out of the chamber, the halfing begins leading the group south before the cramped, damp kobold passage wraps southeast and northwest before straightening out and running north for 35-feet before briefly angling northeast, at which time it turns north again. Once Cair nears the end of this latest northern straightaway, Nighttail chimes in from the rear, where Huk, and its ample girth, struggles slightly to squeeze through one of the turns. "The chamber up ahead, at the end of the tunnel, is usually empty. Usually." Actions?

Sparrow is a bit uncomfortable with the giant lizard breathing down his neck now. He wonders why we don't let the kobold lead the way since she seems to know her way around the complex somewhat.
He continues to follow the group from his spot in the back, periodically touching all the walls on both sides in case there is another illusional doorway somewhere.

While the others reposition themselves, Ciar creeps forward and peers into the chamber which the current passage spills into just ahead. A moment later, the halfling returns and reports that the floors of the room ahead are covered by a thick layer of straw, but his infravision fails to detect anything so it appears to be vacant. Actions?

Ciar leads the rest of the group to the entrance of the straw filled room, which, at least in that way, is eerily reminiscent of one of the earlier caverns discovered which housed a mischief of rats. Now, with the benefit of their everlit torches shining light into the area, the group can see that it is an oddly-shaped room, with rough hewn walls of stone, and a layer of straw approximately 6-inches thick lining its floor. The chamber is slightly taller than the connecting hallway, and provides roughly 10-feet of headspace. On the far side of the room, in the northwest corner, a narrow opening presents itself and another passage appears to hooks around a corner back towards to the east. The space beyond this hook is out of sight from the groups' current position on the opposite end of the area.
"That area's trapped," cautious Nighttail from behind Fulp, meaning the area beyond the main chamber. "Trip line," he adds. Actions?

Ciar cautiously enters the room and, sticking to the western wall, begins to circle to the far side of the chamber. The smell of moldy straw pierces the halfling's nose as he moves, with the piles of it coming up to almost his knee. The halfling reaches his destination, and, knowing what to look for, discovers the trip wire without much difficulty. After spending a few careful moments examining the trap, he sees that the wire is attached to a series of spring-loaded darts hidden just under the straw.
