Therick Ulrazor: Sylvan Elf - Magic-User - Evoker - AC 10 - Hit Points: 8 / 8
Therick, startled when hearing the loud grinding of stone upon stone, looks behind him to see the stone slabs slam shut behind him!
Therick says, “Well shit! Looks like there’s no turning back.”
For the password he says, “42”. Then tries “Kavorquian”

Re: Chapter 3: Taverns and New Adventures
Urtesi looks shocked.
"How did this happen! This was the only trap that the gods revealed and we did not trigger it!"
Seeing what Egon is doing, he stops talking and starts looking for secret doors in the corridor. Lacking dwarven knowledge of stonework, he lights a candle, looking for places where there is a draft coming from between the stones.
Detect secret doors (1-2 on d6) [1d6] = 3

Egon
"I have found nothing here and no clue on the trap. Any ideas on the password? If no one has anything I will try to deal with the trap but our odds are not very good."

Trist
Trist thinks back to the talks with Kaerin and whether he mentioned a password or how he got past the first trap. She also looks about to see if there are inscriptions or signs that are clues to what the password might be.
Int roll. [1d20] = 3 vs 18 int low is good.

Urtesi
"There's something here! A small secret door!"
He shows a square foot area on the wall left of the trap at 5 foot height. He tries to open the secret door.

Re: Chapter 3: Taverns and New Adventures
Urtesi opens the secret door, once opened, there is a 1 cubic foot recess which has a lever within it. The added effort though begins to trigger the trap. stone-covered metal plates in the floor start to slide once there are more than a single person in place. However when 42 is called out the voice from the wall replies "You are correct! You may pass." the metal plates stop sliding. The lever in the secret recess is part way down. there is not a small gap that Egon almost went down in his efforts to help Urtesi. Urtesi feels the lever and pushes it backup and the plates close back up. The stone slabs remain in place blocking off the stairs.
sorry I just assumed some actions here to speed things up.

Trist comments, "Well, that was a close one. We need to be on our toes for sure. Let's keep going I guess?"

Elanriel
After experiencing the first trap, Elanriel feels even more helpless and nervous about their mission. The walls seem oppressive and she wants to get out but knows she can't. She''s very grateful that the others were able to figure it out. Staying close to Delsenora, she continues in her position at the rear, trying to be alert for any further dangers.

First Trap Disarmed: Onward!
Having managed to disarm the first trap in the basement the group pushes forward and is now in the T intersection of the hallway they can go left or right or through the door directly in front of them. Looking down the hall to the right they can see 3 more door options and to the left the hall only goes 10 feet then heads back northward without checking the northern hall there is one door to the left just after the hall goes north.
Map: Updated Actions?

Re: Chapter 3: Taverns and New Adventures
Egon determines the door to be safe he thinks but he gets the whiff of mold and then in the distance (nobody can tell exactly where), a bell rings loudly. The door in front of Egon opens, and a strange creature stands there looking at you.

Everyone roll a surprise roll please!
