This month, ACKS Campaign by Spanky Taz will go 3 years without a public post. Taz hasn't logged into US for over 2 years.

On the outside chance that Taz is still using this forum in a tabletop or email game, can't he access it from the Archived Game section?

I ask because new people checking out our community see what appears to be a long-dead game right at the top of our active game section. We want new folk to know this is an active place.

The moderators have discussed this and agree with you. The game has been moved to the archived section (something that can be undone in the future, if needed).

I wonder if "In the Marches" Traveller should be archived? Eris has not posted here in some time (while actively posting in other sites). He has mentioned maybe having too many games going (GMing and playing).

I do see that he has a 'Last visited' time of Nov 21st, which isn't that long ago (routines do get thrown over the holiday(s), so that's a possibility).

We'll monitor this one for now. Maybe we'll reach out to him to inquire and use his response (or lack thereof) to guide the ultimate decision.

I didn't read through the game history, but could this potentially be a case of game abandonment?

Yea, I've noticed he's visited, but he hasn't posted since Oct 31.

If he had gone dormant everywhere, I might think otherwise, but I know of at least one game off-site he's still actively running.

In the Marches has not been abandoned. It has just been on a short hiatus.

The game has been moved back (but its previous location in the list of games isn't automatically restored so it will now be at the end of the list). We're glad you're back!

That said, a simple request: If you're ever going to be away from your game again for over a month, please attempt to better inform your players and set the proper expectations.
