I don't think there an official scheme for internal thoughts, personally I usually post them in black italics with something nearby to make it clear what they are, e.g. Silvestri examines the stone figure..."what an odd statue" he thinks to himself.

Others do it differently, as long as it doesn't get confused with out-loud dialogue. I don't remember Norjax setting out a standard for this.

When I’ve added color, I’ve usually gone with some sort of a purple: It’s kind of a combo of dialog blue and ooc red. But I’m not consistent either. Usually I just go with uncolored italics, I think.

I primarily use a desktop to access the forum. I find mobile too restrictive for my extent of editing.

I'd prefer a color and italics to offset internal thought. That said, how does this work for our mobile users? Is it better to be one or the other as opposed to both?

I use mobile quite a lot and it doesn't make colour easy. Maybe we can persuade those in charge to add another button for it.

I do like the purple, or the green is good too.

Although I don't use internal dialog much, and I can always get my mobile to render the desktop page when I do.

Similar setting. The technology and culture of the Ancients is bound in myth, legend and fantastical "magic".
