I'd rather just go ahead and move forward, adding in people as needed.

It looks like there is a majority to explore the tomb. I just need to know what you guys are going to sell so I can divvy up XP.

OK, let's put the You Snooze You Lose rules into effect and get this show on the road.

Taking into consideration only the current active players, it looks like Severi wanted the chain +1.

Then it would go to Thurgan to take his pick between Ubiysta (spear +1/+3 vs. giants), Ponos kai Symphora (sword +2), and the Alphatian sword (sword +1/DEX 18 boost 4 rounds/day). If one of the other new players chimes in tonight, then they can get a pick, as well; otherwise, Severi gets to chose between whatever remains of the weapons.

We can worry about claw division later, though that should be decided at some point if any player wants one. I'd rather hold on to any that go unclaimed, though, rather than try and sell them as magical components.

Nobody spoke up about the puzzle box or dagger, so let's sell them, TK.

I need to start night time routine for a 3 year old, but I'll post more later.

Just a quick note to Shaidar and MonsterMash...

We're going to try and get through this as quickly as possible. If you want something, speak up.

Honestly, that should be said about the game in general for all players. I hate playing in a boggy game probably as much as TK hates running one, so we're going to do our best to keep the pace up here.

The best way to ensure that happens is to make sure your IC posts count. Make sure they are always an action and/or IC speech. Don't post hems and haws that do nothing to forward the game.

OK, gotta go. Back later.

I'll take the chain +1 and whichever sword nobody else wants. I can't use any of the other weapons. I agree that we should keep the talons and sell the rest. I'll update my sheet as soon as I find out which blade Thurgan takes.

What you are saying about posts could be taken directly from my own OOC thread, so we're in agreement.

The sword with the dex boost would be really useful for Thurgan.

Okay. I'll take the Sword +2 then, it seems. I'm about to head to the city, but I'll update my sheet tonight.

Hi guys

I'm playing a MU, so the spellbook would be handy, of course it'll take time and money to copy and learn them.

We will include you in the monetary split to help with the expenses. Maybe the two casters can trade the spell book back and forth, each learning one spell then passing it to the other.

Yeah, I figure this is what we'll do.

Also, umm, probably going to be tomorrow before I edit my sheet. We went to see the new Captain America and then took my 4yo to one of those awful pizza-rodent places afterward. Super late here now.

Sounds like a good plan.
Busy getting up to speed as to where are are and where we are going, but don't let that hold things up.

We have thus far avoided said places with our three year old. He did experience his first bouncy house party at a friend's birthday party last weekend and that's all he ever talks about now. At least I didn't have to eat bad pizza; otherwise, not any better. Just another germ factory, with the added threats of broken bones and concussions (each of which my niece has received in an inflatable play area).

1715 gp/xp makes Mursley 3rd level. Now I need to learn a 2nd level spell :)

How does the bank work, as I'll need to dump that cash there.

I still need his hp for 2nd level.

Shaidar, go ahead and put the spellbook on your sheet. You can take the first round of studying from it so you can get a level 2 spell.

...

If I am understanding the treasure correctly, can I dump 715 in the bank and keep one of the opals for walking-around money? Or were they distributed in some other way?

Information about the bank can be found in the "Setting Fluff" thread.
@Wyzard. You can divide the treasure as desired.
@shaidar. 1 hp for 2nd, as well. Sorry.

Ah!

Well, I'm going to go ahead and buy a week's worth of fresh rations, just in case we need to stay out there for a while.

Do you guys all have riding horses? It'll cut down on our wilderness time if everyone's moving at a high rate of speed. Marching on foot in plate mail substantially increases our risk of being eaten by grues.

oh well, no worries.

Mursley will study the Invisibility spell.

With 150gp costs for the spell spent, he will put 1200 in the bank, convert 350gp to gems (315 gp worth) and pocket the remaining 15gp.
