Chapter 3.2: Back to Lord Guido's Keep
Re: Chapter 3.2: Back to Lord Guido's Keep
The Gnolls hear Gus' & Clem's offer & simply continue their attacks aimed at the Halflings.
Round 3 action for Rondoel:
Rondoel attacks Gnoll #3 with his Long Sword:
'To Hit': [1d20] = 5
Only to completely miss the Gnoll #3!
I take it Clem & Gus will not attack this round?
If no attacks from Clem & Gus, i will assume they attempt to parry when making the offer, then we will move to Round 4
The Halfling #2 that Gus' threw off his horse is now laying prone on the ground screaming & struggling to get away from Gnoll #4

Re: Chapter 3.2: Back to Lord Guido's Keep
Luna's actions for round 4:
if Luna is indeed now next to where sleeping gnoll #5 lies, he will quickly dismount, whip out his dagger and try to slit sleeping gnoll #5's throat: Dagger to hit: [1d20] = 8, damage vs L opp: [1d3] = 3, while snarling "Disconnect from desire, beast" in Gnoll, then plans to mount horse and ride back to original protected position at the back ASAP, making sure that horse w. female prisoner is with him
if Luna is still in his original place (next to Oddrick, shielded by Clem), he will stay here, load his sling with a new bullet and try to fire at gnoll #4 (if that's possible without hitting party members): Sling to hit: [1d20] = 9, damage with bullet vs L opp: [1d6+1] = 1+1 = 2

Re: Chapter 3.2: Back to Lord Guido's Keep
Odderick missed the Gnoll #1!
Clem gets his horse between the rukus of the horse with the 3 bandits & the horse with the girl bandit & swings his MorningStar at Gnoll #4.
Clem Hits Gnoll #4 for 1 Hit Point of Damage!
Clem's Horse gets into it as well trying to bite & trample the Gnoll #4!

Gus:
Gus will swing his sword once and then move to be able to use the bow in the next round.
Gus knows he no good at close combat. Attacking Gnoll #4 with Clem.
Pyro, please le me now if he gets 1, 2 or no attacks next round in light of his desire to use his bow.
to hit[1d20+1] = 17+1 = 18 damage[1d6] = 3

Re: Chapter 3.2: Back to Lord Guido's Keep
Gus you have 2 Gnolls to either side of you as it is! & It looks like Clem & Luna & their Horses can take care of a Sleeping Gnoll!
I'll will let it be that Luna moved the horse up to protect the girl as he fired off the Sleep Spell, this enables his horse to deal with Gnoll #5 as well biting & trampling.
Gus does hit either Gnoll #4 or #2! Plus your Horse will try to bite/trample either one!

Re: Chapter 3.2: Back to Lord Guido's Keep
Pyro I'm stupid -- I meant #4 the whole time. For both Gus and Clem -- never meant to waste time and rolls on a sleeper. I am dyslexic!
Also, Gus is kinda pinned in -- got ya.

Dungeon Master:
Ok, as you deal with Gnoll #4 your horse will try to attack Gnoll #2 on his other side.

Re: Chapter 3.2: Back to Lord Guido's Keep
Ok, Ok, Let me lay out Round 3 Here so i don't get all confused with whom is attacking whom:
Gnoll #1: The Medium Warhorse with the 3 Halflings is attempting to fend off this attacker attempting to bite & trample (Damage 1d6/1d6). Horse Bites: [1d20] = 15 Bite Damage: [1d6] = 6 Trample attempt: [1d20] = 17 Trample Damage: [1d6] = 6
Odderick's attempt with his Halberd misses. His Medium Warhorse tries to Trample & Bite: Bite Missed: [1d20] = 4 Trample also misses: [1d20] = 7
Gnoll #1 falls to the ground, apparently dead.
Gnoll #2: Gus' Medium Warhorse is attempting to bite. Bite Hits: [1d20] = 18
Damage from horse bite: [1d6] = 2
Gnoll #3: Rondoel is using his Long Sword & Misses, while his Medium Warhorse is attempting to Bite/Trample. Horse Bite Misses: [1d20] = 3 Trample also misses: [1d20] = 5
Gnoll #4: Gus is using his Short Sword this round & does 3 Damage.
Bro. Clem does 1 Hit Point of Damage to the Sleeping Gnoll with his MorningStar.
Bro. Clem's Horse bites: [1d20] = 12 for [1d6] = 3 of Damage & Tramples: [1d20] = 19 for [1d6] = 6 of damage.
Gnoll #4 falls to the ground apparently dead from his wounds.
Gnoll #5: Is Asleep & being worked on by Luna Cee & his Medium Warhorse.
Luna had just cast the Sleep Spell.
Luna's Horse misses on the bite: [1d20] = 5 & Misses trampling: [1d20] = 7
It's like the Horse was not sure if the Gnoll #5 just fell dead or what & just snapped & trampled near it instead.
But, would try again after seeing Luna Cee Attack Gnoll #5 next round or until Luna commands it to stop.
Check the Battle/Encounter Log for Hit Point updates. So far no Player Character suffered damage.
2 Gnolls (#1 & #4) are down & #5 is asleep.

Re: Chapter 3.2: Back to Lord Guido's Keep
Even as Gnoll #1, lies on the ground bleeding profusely & unmoving, Odderick makes sure that he actually hits the Gnoll with his Halberd this time!
