Part 3: Welcome to Tragidore!
Re: Part 3: Welcome to Tragidore!
Theodore Mumfordian (Half Sylvanian Wood-Elf) Ranger lvl:5 HP 21/21 AC 5):
Theodore to Brother Neev:
"Using the bandits as bait might not be a good idea as they may flee. Though making them think they are going to be bait may get them to tell us about the jewelry & perhaps more."
"Let some of us question the bandits right after dinner while those of us, that can rest for a bit, to re-acquire at least one of their spells, do so. Then later tonight we will all gather to try the bait ploy.

I was thinking party members not the bandits but maybe that is a better idea!

Talk among yourselves here when you have the plan formulated I'll direct the scenes.

Ill go for some rest friends.Dune remarks. It would probably be best to leave the bandits in the cells. We can hold our own id say against any attacks.

"I'll come with you Theodore. I am interested to hear what else they have to say, particularly about the graveyard!" . Gandrel puts his eating utensils down and stretches his legs out.
"Besides I haven't had any exercise for at least an hour, I could do with the walk!"

"I'll come with you to interrogate the bandits. Don't need any extra sleep to swing an axe." Thifli takes one last swig of ale and lets out a loud belch.

For the meantime, I will swap out Command for Invisibility to Undead and Cure Disease for Negative Plane Protection.

Re: Part 3: Welcome to Tragidore!
So is it safe to say that the party is going to be split? Roughly half staying to rest and study spells. The other half to go beat gather information out of the bandits?

sounds like what we're doing. I mean, we're safe in the town. What could possibly go wrong?

Re: Part 3: Welcome to Tragidore!
Alright so the three go off with the bandits and some of Marta's guards escorted to the jail. The jail is not a huge building but inside it does have two holding cells big enough for 4 men to fit into there are two wooden desks in the front and a small office in the back with little more than a wooden table with shackles and two chairs the shackles are attached to the floor and table. It looks as if the back room is for questioning prisoners one at a time. The two desks one is bigger than the other you suspect one was for the person in charge and the other was for the low ranking help. There are a set of keys located in the larger desk that likely go to the cells and the back office. No authority personnel are in the building as you suspect they were some of the ones that vanished or were taken. The guards Marta sent with you put the four bandits in the cells two in each cell. Then they walk over and sit at the desks. "We won't interfere with your work but if you need us we'll be right here." they rest their crossbows on the desks pointed towards the cells and within quick reach incase they need to shot a prisoner that might try to escape.
The rest of you that stayed back in the Inn Marta and a few of her guards go upstairs to where the inn rooms are. Leaving you all to your meal and whatever else you wish to do. One of the remaining guards walks into the dining room and sets a few keys down on the table "Here are your room keys should you need them to rest or study they are the first four rooms at the top of the stairs on the left." the guard walks back out to their post. Once again leaving the remainder of you alone with the usual company you have had for the last day or so travelling to Tragidore.
