It's about 30 feet away, so you would have to do a charge attack and give up some AC to attack it on this round.

Yes, flanking is worth +1. Didn't apply in this case since it was engaged with Kordrak, but you hit regardless.

Just thinking about the wreath idea. Would it take an attack roll to place one on the head of one of the alitae or would that be something that would automatically succeed? It's something we could try if they attack and if it doesn't work then we could defend normally.

Depends on the situation - I would probably have an attack roll if they notice your attempt, but if it is in one way or another concealed, I might make it just a saving throw or even automatic if the concealing is thorough enough.

I am not opposed to trying it but a back up plan is a good idea either way.

I will be out of the country for the next 2 weeks on vacation in the Caribbean, so I'm not sure how much posting I will be able to do while away.

Hopefully I can get on here a few times from the beach but if I don't, I will be back in full force on 5/11.
