OOC Chat
Re: OOC Chat
Hmm perhaps, but let’s see what the ominous voice does?
Re: OOC Chat
Expecting everyone always catch when I repeat names might be a little much especially with some new players. Something called the Crossing was mentioned before.

Is it 10' per square on the map? Is there any chance of a Lightning Bolt rebound off of the rock behind him?

Re: OOC Chat
They are blocking the way forward to our objective. Are we turning around and going home?
Re: OOC Chat
While I am posting this in context of Dicey's post, this is a general note. If you have a specific place you want to move on the map, I would request you would name the target location. (Post a map with the place marked or describe the specific or relative place (4 squares to the right)). I try my best to interpret our collective posts for the purposes of the story. I am sure that in this example that Dicey clearly meant the pack of the group, but I took it to mean the back of the room which which she already kind of was and it was to vague for me to take specific action on.
Thank you for your understanding.
Re: OOC Chat
Do we want to release one of the children from paralyzation and see if they will speak now?

Re: OOC Chat
Do we happen to have a general map of where we've come and what passages we may have left untaken? I can't remember what possible important passages we may have bypassed for good reason at the time.
Re: OOC Chat
Hex can lift the paralyzation at will, it's otherwise permanent until a dispel magic or illusion.
If we can communicate with one of the children - didn't we do so earlier? - perhaps we could get that one to serve us long enough to get us past this lava in exchange for lifting the paralyzation from the others?
Re: OOC Chat
I thought the children were just chanting something magical. I could be wrong though.
Re: OOC Chat
Garrant has no spells for languages.
Re: OOC Chat
Before they started chanting I believe they said some things that we could understand:
The first figure says, "Come and join us for a swim. The lava feels fine!"
The second agrees saying, "Oh boy" and then giggles.
The fourth creature calls out looking to its left, in a language that is not understood, but heard by all, "Solenearcillus"
Re: OOC Chat
Then it looks like we should be able to communicate with them, if they are willing of course.

Re: OOC Chat
are there no gaps at all? of any size?Nah Olos scans the rubble, looking for even small openings that perhaps an animal could crawl through.

Re: OOC Chat
There is fallen rock, what does a gap look like something that you can see through to the other side. Then yes there are no gaps of any kind. Does a gap mean that something that might make it a few feet then you have dig at that spot to see more - then yes it exists.

Does dexterity help with steering the raft/mushroom cap?
If so, three high dex characters might offset a penalty there.
Hex can alter self to swim or fly if need be, but its at most about two turn duration, so more for a pinch situation.
