Clem & Gus Niminus:

"Good night Durgan. Good night Odderick. We will see you in the morning." Say the Niminis Brothers.

Gus will take a moment to formally introduce himself to Oakenfell.

Gus turns to Clem and says:"Wow, things are happening fast - well done little brother"

Clem is keying down from the excitement of having met Stormbrow. Reciting prayer is calming to him. Clem is back to letting Gus do the talking.

Gus says to Sabine:

"Well Ma'am, it looks like I just became a member of a party of adventurers or mercenaries or something."

"We are going to the Caves of Chaos. Being a local girl -- is there anything you have heard about those caves? Any information of any use? Rumors?"

what is Sabine's drink?

Sabine says, "I'll have either Bark Tea or Apple Cider."

Sabine then says, "All i know right now about the vile Caves of Chaos, is that several groups of different humanoids have taken up residence there & that Mr. Kmartie & his wife may be held there."

"You may want to watch out for Lizard-Men, that roam the forest, they live primarily in the marshes."

"Lord Wiedig is offering a bounty of 10 Gold Pieces a head for any troublesome Lizard-man."

Clem pays for Sabine's Cider allowing Gus to retain his full 2 gold pieces.
"Lizard men?! Yuck!", Gus says.

Clem addresses Rondoel:
"Lord Oakenfell briefly said that we would have 4 horses and that we want them to appear wild. Do you have any idea as to why we wish for these animals to appear wild?"

Gus adds:
"I would love to travel with a wagon and mules but is sounds like we are being asked to employ stealth -- keep a low profile perhaps. We might have a 7 member party."

"I have never seen a party with 4 1/2 humans and 2 1/2 token elves maintain a low profile. Humans are noisy."

Gus adds a question: "Has there been any cartography done on the surrounding areas? It would be good to secure a map -- even a poor one."

As Durgan trots off, Garbonzo bids him adieu. He sees the druid as a sign that perhaps this group has good intentions, and may be a timely discovery for he and Trindon.

As Garbonzo has had a long, rough day, the effects of the ale and food are causing a flood of drowsiness.
After Sabine sits down for a drink, Garbonzo tries to pull it together and turn on some of his charm; but with and obvious drowsiness penalty.

"So, little lady, you must see all kinds of "heroes" comin' through the Keep. Ever seen one this big and handsome?"

Immediately sensing the douchiness of his pick-up line, he doesn't even take time for a reply. The soured twinge in Sabine's face says it all.

"Well, you will have to excuse me. It seems the day has taken its toll on my better judgement and mind faculties. I'm just going to sit back and listen to all ye have to say now."

After hearing all that is said, Garbonzo decides it best to get the most rest he can to be refreshed for tomorrow.

"Well, I best be checkin on my travel companion."

" I told him I was going to bring him down to meet you all more than an hour back, but I got caught up in our salutations and lost track of time."

"Trindon is a quiet fellow, but don't mistake him for an anti-socialite. He has had a rough life, and some of his civility has been beaten out of him."

"His heart is good, and he appears to be more loyal than a mutt to me, for I have saved his life several times this week."

"Please consider he and I if you all are fixing to leave on any kind of quest. We would love to hear of the objective. A good chance we are up for it!! Good night all! Don't stay up too late now!"

Rondoel says to Clem & Gus:

"Yes, stealthiness is what i would like to go for here."

"And yes, we will have a general map of the area."

Sabine says to Garbonzo:

"Yes, indeed i have seen all kinds of wanna-be heroes pass through Kendall Keep.
One of them being my Husband whom, on an excursion to the bloody Caves of Chaos, became food for
Giant Rats."

"All i have left now are my two, 4-year-old Sons."

Durgan Lightwater [Lvl 1: HP 8: AC 8]

After communing with the horses, at the Common Stables, Durgan then heads towards the inn and goes to sleep in his room.

Durgan sleeps the sleep of nature, of trees standing firm and tall, their leaves blowing softly as the wind fly through, the plants and animals living through their own existence, creating a sweet musical harmony with put together.

He dreams of walking through this forest, his heart filled with joy and a never ending peace, the greatest answers of nature are known to him, why frogs love lilly pads, why a deer jumps through leaves, why beers love honey, and the most mysterious of them all, he knows what the fox says.

Thought I'd just throw something in here

OCC: Ok, so it looks like Garbonzo & Sabine are left at the tavern. After they are through & i get started on the maps for the Keep & Borderlands, we can get the Morning of Day 2 Started, I guess it's like Early April gametime. I have the Maps scanned, now to see how i can edit them a bit.

Right now this picture should give you all an idea of what some of the dwellings look like...stone first floor wooden & thatched 2nd floor. The Homes, Inn & Tavern are similar to this:

Odderick [lvl 1: HP 7: AC 6/5 with shield]:

Odderick stayed up fairly late, reading his book, writing notes, and making little diagrams of foining arcs and whatnot.
He sleeps soundly, and wakes up early. He heads out into the streets to take a brisk walk around the Keep, both to wake up the muscles and to get a better sense of the place.
Passing a bakery, he picks up a sweet roll for breakfast before heading back to the tavern to see who else is up.
