Howdy Ho!
Howdy Ho!
Hey there! Been looking for a new nest to run old school type PBP games and this place looks like it!
Originally started with Rules Cyclopedia which still holds a place in my heart of hearts. Played alot of 3.5, found 5e not to be my thing, and dabbled in various other systems along the way. I keep telling myself I'll run a Red Markets game if I can get my head around it. Big fan of OSE/ B/X style games and 90% of what I run or play in falls into that category.
Also, would anyone be able to explain how sheets work on here?

Welcome, SCREE.
You're definitely in the right place for some old school D&D gaming. And other games as well; though, I can't remember if we've seen a Red Markets game... yet.
As for the die roller, there is some official documentation, here:
- The Unseen Servant User's guide
- Die-roll macro syntax and rules
Then, I always remember an explanation of how to use the die roller in one of his games, here:
- Character Creation & Stuff
If you still need any help after that, this is a very useful forum so feel free to ask and you'll certainly get an answer.

Lovely jubly! It's pretty cool you can link sheets directly into the forum. Looks like it's really compatible with my favourite systems too. Thanks for the warm welcome!

It really is pretty cool.
Some user's do some pretty creative things with it. If I come across any, I'll return and link them here.

that'd be handy actually. I think I've just about gotten enough basic BBCode to get by, but still alot to learn about how things work here

Welcome aboard!
On November 2nd I will be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.
