You fly into the waterfall with an upward angle, full power to the grav harness... and are smashed down with unimaginable force. The tons of water bear you down for a seeming eternity, even as you attempt to extract yourself, and then smash you into the water below like a rocket-propelled meat puppet. The suit's armor and your own keep you from being instantly killed, but you take damage and are somewhat disoriented.Thumper wrote: ↑Tue Sep 17, 2024 10:05 pm Alright then, Walt will want a quick surface scan Tech World and this world. Then he’ll take a running leap into the water fall and gin his grav harness for a quick transit of the falls with an upward vector just before hitting water.
He’ll send out the two grav bots to search the local area for later retrieval.
Once he has bearings and a surface coordinate, he’ll reverse back to his man cave then reluctantly move off to find his friends.
The suit is going crazy, red warnings luridly blaring that just about every system has failed and suit integrity is comprised. Your faceplate is badly cracked, and you're sinking. The grav harness offline. Is that water flowing into your suit? Sure feels like it.
I'll make a vacc suit roll for you.
Only Vacc Suit 0 and no wafer skills to back it up. Ouch. You get a DM +3 for stats. I'm looking for a Formidable 14+ result.
No success in righting yourself. It's dark and you don't know where the surface is. The interior electronics short out, plunging you into darkness and the water is up to your neck.
You have one action to avoid getting a pretty certificate that says Death by Misadventure. What'll it be?
