Earlier this year I finished reading The Monsters: Mary Shelley and the Curse of Frankenstein by Dorothy Hoobler.
Percy Shelley was an odd fellow...as was Mary and Lord Byron and all the others they traveled and lived with.

Cruloc made 30 torches. If we divide them evenly, that is 6 each.
If 6 will encumber anyone, Kiri and Cruloc can likely handle the extra load.
Please speak up if 6 is too many for your character.

Hi everyone,
Thanks for posting! I was going to move the game along now but we have a last minute matter to quickly resolve.

My position is that any player can suggest actions to another player, but ultimately everyone controls their own PC.

For example, if a player doesn't add torches to their character sheet inventory, I won't assume they did. Likewise, writing that they plug their ears, or that they tie themselves to another PC.

To allow these decisions, I'll extend the turn 24 hours. If I can get quick replies please (even if you're doing nothing so I know you weighed in), then we can move the game along tomorrow.

Yrkoon, I'll need an if/then action for Cruloc please. If all 30 torches aren't carried, will he leave them behind? Or carry them? Or something else?

Amethu is overloaded i think. If I add up all his equipment and new food, he's at like 150lbs which puts him at encumbered (3"-4" movement)?

Kiri can carry a house, so if Amethu has vital stuff that can't be left behind, he can help.

Cruloc will take 10 torches, which he will add to his existing stock of 6.
Hopefully, the others will be carried among the party.
If there are torches left over, he'll lug them down to the city and find a dry place to stash them.

His ears are plugged, and the rope is tied around his waist.

Amethu can manage his torches I think. It’s the food he has a problem with . 6 iron and 2 std rations is a lot of weight.

Anyone have room for that?

i posted in the game thread. Rope tied, ears open, can carry two more torches if needed.

But to be clear, those are daily rations, not weekly rations. The total weight of your rations is 12 lbs as per here:

If my record keeping is right, everyone should have seven days of salmon, boar and wolf, except for Cruloc with eight and Torix with nine.

14 standard rations of dried wolf meat (each weighs 3 lbs)
2 iron rations of dried boar (each weighs 1 lb)
22 iron rations of salmon (each weighs 1 lb)

Thanks for clarifying the days vs. weeks of rations. Amethu is about 75lbs then and a 9" movement speed I think...

I'd agree about exploring above ground. Good to cover all bases, I think. It's a whole mapped out city, after all.
