Ingram opens the door and there is a staircase going down. It has a light coating of frost in places. He moves down to the bottom and beholds wonder and cold, very cold temperatures. The room is octagonal, with 4 support columns. Around the room hang several chains with what appears to be meat hooks on the end. In the middle of the room is a massive purple quartz. It is transparent purple and he estimates roughly 4 foot long by 2 foot wide by 1 foot tall. Lharzin following just behind immediately knows what this is, but she has never seen one anywhere near this big.

Algrim opens the southern door and finds an octagonal room with a fire pit in the center. Chains hang from the ceiling with meat hooks on them.

With the rooms addressed, Lharzin now goes to help gather edible mushrooms and lights.

Lharzin could easily gather plenty of food for several days, it would simply be a mater of spending the time.
Ingram moves further down the waterway, noting a bridge ahead and another mushroom bed ahead. The tunnel continues deeper in.
Murgar moves into the cold room, noting that it might also work as a sanctum for Odivshe (water, cold, and darkness) magic.
Arngeir notes that the lantern and pot both contain oil of some sort, a quick check seems to indicate it is of high quality.

Lharzin and Beryl gather mushrooms.
Arngeir remains in the main room.
Murgar remains in the cold room.
Ingram and Algrim continue to explore along the waterway.
The smaller stream that enters and joins the waterway in the SW corner is noticeably warmer water. The area in the SE corner appears to have been used as a latrine, where the swift flowing water would sweep any waste out through the grate and down the vortex visible on the other side of the grate.

Ingram turns around and rejoins the larger group.
Looks like that dead ends as the water drains away. Unless there are other rooms on this level I'm forgetting, I am ready to go up the stairs.
