Re: Lost
"What dwarven kingdom does this door lead to?"
A royal hunting lodge in the Kingdom of Kiraz.
A royal hunting lodge is the bonus info.
"What goods passed through here?"
Mostly meat, but some forage and it was also used as an occasional royal retreat.

(Dwarves slready have 60' dark vision?)
Lharzin rises solemnly, gazing within, and explains it was A royal hunting lodge in the Kingdom of Kiraz.
She ponders the chamber beyond with her keen dwarven eyes as she gets tinderbox and torch from her pack, then looks to the humans in the group. "It is apothecary, not magic... but if you wish, i can apply a compound to your eyes that will allow you to see heat in the stone as we do. It should aid you for a month... long term deterioration is quite rare."

Harnic dwarves do not have darkvision. But they have alchemical, magical, and Invocations that grant them infravision. You know one of the 3 versions.Marullus wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2024 11:59 pm (Dwarves slready have 60' dark vision?)

Re: Lost
Algrim doesn't care one way or the other on the light source debacle.

Re: Lost
Lharzin offers her alchemical remedy to everyone. "If we are to delve, it is a boon. Shall we all use it? It will last us a month, but I cannot get ingredients for more without a return to Azadmere... well, unless it also grows in this kingdom. Hmmmm..."
Re: Lost
Arngeir has a torch lit. Currently no other light source.
Everyone sees a staircase leading up into the cave ceiling 20+ feet above.
Beryl looks south and can see the only a little ways in but it looks like the start of a stable. He can also see what looks like a pipe coming out of the east wall with water coming from it into a trough that runs out of sight.
Ingram gets to the door and immediately notices the air here is much colder. The light only shines a short distance in but he can just make out 2 columns that appear to be supporting the ceiling. beyond that is darkness. The ceiling is approximately 10 feet high and arched in the room to the west. He can feel much colder air in the room and hear running water, lots of it. There is signs of frost in places as well.
Actions?

Re: Lost
Lharzin also finishes lighting her torch. She proceeds west to peer further through that door and look up the stairs.
