The druid pats Drest on the cheek and says, "You're welcome, my friend."
She then looks to Kain and Belloc, her "old" companions, to make sure they are alright. "I have no more healing. In fact, it is not a gift Yoon'Deh gives me. But, I may be able to brew something we found in the old frog woman's hut to help with the burns. It will take awhile though."

Fighting their temptations to rush after the pyromaniac dwarf, the group instead discuss their options while searching the room they just entered. Once the remaining fire has burned out, that is.

Similar to the main chamber, this room is disgusting. Stinking furs and rotting vegetation are scattered around the floor, along with piles of bodily waste and other unknown gelatinous globs. Picking through the refuse, you find absolutely nothing of value in the least.

Ceana heals Drest with a magic scroll as Taibhse works his healing skills on Sik, bringing the Barbarian back to the world of the living again, though just barely.

As the conversation turns to retreat and rest, rapid footfalls can be heard coming from the tunnel that lead north. When the party turns to look, they see the cunning dwarf sprint past the chamber entrance from the north, heading back out towards the main chamber again.

Sik, tired of chase, readies his sling once again and lobs a bullet at the dwarf.

To hit: [1d20+1]=13+1=14, damage with sling: [1d8]=8

Akhilleus sighs but doesn't react. He hopes his companions will bring the dwarf down and prefers to avoid getting in the way of so many projectiles.

Snapping to attention when they see the rouge dwarf trying to escape again, a good portion of the group fires at the thing from a distance, mostly getting into each other's way as they swing, twirl, and release their arrows in a frenzy.

At the last moment, Belloc uses his magic on the escapee, placing him into a slumber that takes over both mind and body, causing him to splay out across the cavern floor fast asleep.

Sik runs up and swings his axe at the sleeping dwarf.

"Wake up you little cur, I want you to feel this!"

To hit: [1d20+2]=6+2=8 (THAC0:19), damage with battle axe: [1d10+2]=4+2=6

I'm assuming this is an automatic hit since he's defenseless.

Sik then stops his attack, and tries to disarm f
the dwarf before pinning him down."Nobody else attack him. Let him tell us where the gem is first."

Edit: assuming its not too late, I do want to make sure that the dwarf is unarmed if possible.

Akhilleus He doesn't see the scene by judges the situation by the dialogue among his companions. "I don't think he's gonna say anything worth hearing. I can only imagine him trying to bite us, if we tie him and ask him about the gem. Let's try anyway and, if it doesn't work, we just kill him. The less danger behind our backs, the better."

How does alignment work in this game? :lol:
