Yngvar utters a spell to bring the encounter to an end. His
Sleep incantation causes the injured Pteranodons to swoon exhausted before they can attack or fly away. It is a simple matter then to slay the creatures.
The group's anti-air flak cover of missiles grounding the beasts and the good hits mean they never get to lift of. Not sure if the Pteranodons are edible, but the 'bushmeat' could be cut, hearts, liver, offal to feed animal companions and each could take a trophy from the critters, a beak or claw, a span of hollow boned wings.
