Re: Chapter 6: The Evil Queen & Her Fortress
Jivet returns and gives some sort of snarky reply to Trist, you know the usual banter they have from time to time. Egon is told that the guards all have their backs to the stone walls.

Weston whispers to Delsenora
"Do you have a Hold Person spell? If so we will need to synchronise casting, I'll take those on the left and you the right."

Xlore "Well if it helps Elanriel and myself both have our bows. So we can try and snipe at them from a distance, even if we miss them it would serve as a distraction. We can hold fire until someone signals us to start shooting."

Re: Chapter 6: The Evil Queen & Her Fortress
Misha attempts to get close enough to cast sleep centralized on what would get most of the guards ahead. Krofter manages to slip off into the shadows and everyone loses track of the goblin helper. The two guards that were informing the halfbreeds about the missing hobgoblins fall asleep slumping to the floor the halfbreeds confused as to what the heck is going on look around down the passage to see if they can see anything. The haldbreed guard on the right suddenly realizes it cannot move. Assuming I got this right cast hold person on the right side guard? The guard on the left is surprised as Krofter the goblin appears out of the shadows and stabs at it. Being distracted the same guard manages to see a dwarf (Egon) charge forward battle axe in hand and fall flat on his face almost drop his axe but manages to hold onto it. Double-distracted now that guard gets hit by a javelin as well as a few arrows. He takes a swing at Krofter nearly killing the goblin with one swing of it's sword. The one guard not asleep or held is still standing though injured.
Ready for next attacks.

Yay! Looks like my new Netgear Nighthawk cable router modem, is letting me back on the site! (It was blocking the Unseen Servant when I first got it).
If necessary, Therick will cast Magic Missle at the remaining guard, to help finish him off.

Re: Chapter 6: The Evil Queen & Her Fortress
Xlore will risk it and take two more shots at the remaining bloodied foe.
Xlore Long Bow: Arrow 1[1d20+2]=10+2=12 to hit, damage: [1d6]=6 Arrow 2[1d20+2]=6+2=8 to hit, damage: [1d6]=1
Micha stays back having no spells left to cast. "I told the goblin to just leave but he insisted on being my helper, the fool. He could have lived if he just left with the others." she says trying to sound hard but while talking a tear runs down her cheek, as she shakes her head at the foolish loss.

Re: Chapter 6: The Evil Queen & Her Fortress
The battle continues with the only ones that attacked missing the on remaining foe that is not in some form of magical hold or slumber, or dead on the floor. it swings at the closest foe still alive, stepping over the bleeding out goblin body on the floor it charges Egon but can't manage to hit him due to his armor. Nobody else makes a move and the next round of attacks ensues.
