OOC
Re: OOC
I am not sure if I should post or give you more time to respond to Turnip's question? It isn't really something that Fili would know anything about.

Re: OOC
Maybe bring that up with the others. I doubt resting up at the outpost would bother Fili after 1400 years his perspective of time is shot. It would give me a chance to introduce Tamerlaine's PC as well.

Re: OOC
I am perfectly ok with resting it the outpost. Heck Algrim was considering moving in to restore the place to it's former glory.

Re: OOC
Sorry I should have included that. I have it as the evening of the 16th. The battle was the late morning of the 15th and you spent the rest of the day searching and met Gerolt late that day. Traveled to the ruined tower and rested. Pushed hard on the 16th and just arrived at the village. You are about 15 leagues of good roads through populated areas to Geda where the closest festival is. Under these conditions travel speeds are:
Mounted 10 leagues per watch (4 hours), can be forced to 12.5 leagues per watch with increased risk. 6 hours normal or 5 hours forced.
Cart, Foot, and Wagon are all 5 leagues per watch or 6.25 leagues per watch forced. 1.5 days normal or 10 hours forced.
Note that Gerolt has 2 horses.

Re: OOC
Horse, cart 180d
Horse, plough 240d
Horse, riding 360d
Horse, war 600d
plus shoeing, saddle and tack
quality makes a difference with horses so these are variable prices
You are in the evening at a village, although it is at the end of one of the largest trade routes on Harn so there would be horses available but not a big selection.
Best bet is explain the situation to the knight and see if he will let you ride one of his horses and he could come along with you. Maybe a suitable donation to his order. Keep in mind that everyone acknowledges the existence of all the Gods and even if they are primarily devoted to just one (most people are) they try to respect the other non-evil ones as it is never a good idea to bring negative attention from a God or one of their servants. Larani is effectively the "Good" Goddess of feudalism and war where Sarajin is the "Neutral" God of the Sea/Cold and War. They are not historically in opposition to each other and there are no major conflicts between there followers either.

Re: OOC
Algrim doesn't want to travel until we're ready to put Fili's remains to rest. Hopefully that isn't an issue.

Re: OOC
I was thinking a similar thing regarding the knight.
As for Arngeir heading off, I have no issues if you guys want to continue the with the story and I'll rejoin when he returns. If it wasn't such a major religious event (actually it is THE religious event for Sarajin followers), I'd have kept going, but it shouldn't impact your game.

Re: OOC
One of the cool things about Harn is the real life details that rarely crop up in other fantasy settings and how a group ends up interacting with them. It won't mess anything up overall, just means a split group for a little while.
