Chapter 6: The Evil Queen & Her Fortress

Egon points out the woman and goblin to the others, then shrugs. Trying to see what they want to do.

The goblin pleads to the woman to tell you that he works for her. (so far that is all I have I'm waiting for the woman to give me a reaction )

Trist

Trist shakes her hand trying to get the sting out of it from the bow. She stomps her feet from the pain in her hand as she shouts out at the pain, Son of a beehive." She's thankful the silence rendered her voice silent as she composes herself and gets ready to fire next round."

"Jivet come to me."

She scans for targets.

I updated my inventory to account for the arrow being shot and not yet potentially recovered.

Just after saying that you see the two orc guards drop to the ground and a dwarf standing there. The goblin throws his hands up in the air in surrender to the dwarf. "Me sorry miss, but I surrender. Please tell dis dwarf me your helper." the dwarf turns as if to leave and then suddenly stops as if suddenly realizing he saw a woman in a jail cell.

The Woman stands stupefied for a moment, staring at the dwarf. "Hey, you! Who are you? Get me out of here, please! These creatures kidnapped me and locked me in this cell."

Trist

The other 2 orc guards still stand at their post half asleep still not bothering to look at the other entrance where Egon currently is as he points at something and looks back at Xlore and Trist whom were with him a moment ago sneaking.

Egon

Once Egon sees that Xlore and Trist are dealing with the woman and goblin he will try and surprise the guards and take them out.

"Oh, that's clever." The Woman says and gesticulates towards the bars of the cell. "Now please get me..." She then points towards the fallen orcs, and makes the gesture of opening a door with a key, then points to the cell again.

Trist

Trist seeing the woman in the cell realizes what she's asking....Trist hand signals she's going to release the woman.

Trist searches the orc for keys. Once found she opens the gate to release the woman.

The keys are found handing on a metal spike in the cavern wall near where the guarding orcs were slain, the goblin still on his knees please to be spared and claims to work for the woman as her helper per the promise she made if he tried to help free her.

Trist

Trist looks at the woman, “Is this true? Does this creature work for you?”

Trist frees the woman regardless but stays alert for any trickery keeping her distance and being watchful. She slings her bow and draws her sword.

Therick, keeps on checking the surrounding as the others deal with the girl, goblin and guards. Alert to cast the magic missile spell when needed.

Nothing comes in from the entrance the group came in through and nothing comes from the passage leading to the mines as the lift was wrecked so nothing can currently come up from below unless they fix the lift or carve out some stairs.

Egon

Egon keeps sneaking towards the guards.

Delsenora is ready to shoot if craziness breaks out.

The Woman gives the goblin a quick glance. "Well, I can't say I know him much; we've just met..." She takes a careful step out of her cell. "But he was friendly enough, compared to the other denizens of this place. He was going to break me out of here before you arrived." She examines the newcomers more closely. "Speaking of which, who are you? Thanks for getting me out, by the way. I'm not sure where I am, exactly."

Guards the rear entrance to the cave, making sure no one sneaks up on them from the lower caves via the elevator.

Trist

I took a breather from the house. Yay...

Trist comments, "I suppose there could be worse things to be friends with. We're just explorers and happened upon this place. What is going on here? You don't know how you got in here? Glad for you we came along."

Trist keeps the convo not committal.

Are you well enough to travel? We've got some more exploring to do.

Kravoud also stays silent guarding the rear entrance.

I hear you, Crweando. I moved just two months ago. Our home is still full of boxes.

"To be honest, I don't really know anything about this place. I was investigating, hot on the trail of an evil priest from Stallanford. As far as I've heard, he's in league with some sort of queen here in the Black Mountains. Then I ran into some gnolls." Misha rubs over a spot on her head, still covered in dried blood. "Next thing I know, I wake up in a cave. To be honest, I'm a better physician than investigator."

She nods. "As much as I loved my stay in this cell, I'm itching to check out the decor on the rest of the place."

Trist says softly, "I'm Trist...See if the orc has anything you can use while we deal with these other orcs.

Trist moves to assist Egon drawing her longsword taking advantage of any cover as she moves towards them.
