"Oh well alright then. So how about against demons?" he asks in all seriousness.
Jeremy thinks about this for a second before answering
Roy and Mac Not sure I would bother demons with the Dark Matter. It's more of a PKE disruptor than what you would need to contain or, for lack of a better way to put it, injure it. Demons exist kind of like a bridge between worlds, multi-spectrum is the way we have begun referring to them in the labs. You see, they are certainly on the PKE spectrum, but there is also a physical aspect of to them as well, so they are both here and not here in a physical sense. I think the Dark Matter with a big enough blast could interrupt them give the volume of energy was enough and you had the time, but I wouldn't want to gamble that. I think I would go the Composite Particle System since it could really pack a punch on their physical half, and while they are spending precious energy holding themselves together on the bi-planer level, hit them with an old fashion proton stream and since they would be less anchored and stable. At least, that is how we initially designed with this in mind. We uh... have a shortage of demons to experiment on for "obvious reasons" as my sister says... he makes air quotes and rolls his eyes a bit.

His face shows a mixture of enjoyment for all the cool new toys and annoyance that Jeremy seems to have let his enthusiasm run away with him. He says nothing to Jeremy about this, but starts making mental notes about what to do to "fix" the cobbled-together parts of the new packs.
Joker The more he looks at the new packs the more he can see these are somehow simultaneously sleek and new as well as slapped together. Is that duct tape? Everything is clearly made to go together, and intended to, but you get a feeling much like one does from looking at all the 1950 era cars in Cuba. They were engineered at some point, sure, but have also been "made to work" putting new and old together, things that might not have originally been intended for the original design simply added on with the best of intentions but the mismatched seams and janky wiring stick out like a sore thumb to a trained eye.

These will come in real handy, Mr. Spangler! This town is full of ghosts, and we've come across a number of powerful entities so far.
Jeremy grins back at Lionel and nods.
I know right! I can hardly wait to see them in action in a real scenario! This is going to be exciting! Do you have any big jobs lined up? Going to see these things work on a demon would make my day. You did say demon earlier, right?
Jason meanwhile takes everyone's orders but his thought appears to be anyone's guess.
Anyone that wants to roll for checking out the new gear may do so but if you want to dedicate a scene to give them the garage lookover, we will need to make another thread for it or wait for this to resolve itself, either way is fine.
Jeremy turns around to
Fred and whistles just as the droid stacks the last of about a dozen 8x8x8 cubes of compressed packing peanuts against the wall. The little robot's "head" turns 180* and whistles back before moving in Jeremy's direction.
Good job buddy! How's that for cleaning up, Ma'am? he asked rather proudly towards Julia.
For her part,
Julia had tried to keep up with the explanations of the equipment but it was the little droid that seemed to impress her the most.
Yes, especially once the crates are out... What else can he do? I think I want one for my apartment, or even around here.
Fred turns to Julia and whistles... well, you know how you would whistle at Julia. She laughs and even blushes a little and the little droid bounces a bit excitedly.
Jeremy grins between them.
Well, he likes you, but I'm afraid Fred is a one of a kind. At least for now. But he can do cleaning task like sweet, mob, vacuum, surveillance and security, pest control, water plants, take soil samples so he knows if they need any fertilizer, dust, and even assist in basic engineering task.
Julia a bit flatly.
So does it come in pink?
