I would remind folk Grigor has two doses of his potion of extra healing upon him still.

+1 non-magical long sword, you say? Seems made for a barbarian.
Cruloc will throw his hat into the ring of potential suitors for the sword.

Kiri, for one, will stick with his trident.

Hey everyone.
New DM post is up.
I don't always find the exact image I'm looking for, but sometimes I get very close.
When the image, the map or my write-up contradict, the write-up is correct. Then the map. Lastly, the image.
Thanks!

Cruloc thanks Kiri for noticing.

Do any of the slain Thracians carry arrows?

Hi Bluetongue,
Fyi, for your Encumbrance total...
Helms weigh 10 lbs.
Shields weigh 10 lbs.
Spears are 0.5 lbs. ea.

Re: In the Mind of Man (ooc and questions V)
Thanks.
I was debating either to take them for myself or to use them in cleric roleplay by laying them on the altar and offering them as a gift of remembrance to the Thracian dead as he prays a CLW over himself. Though injured critically by the warriors (in futility he feels, why didn't they just talk to us?), He at least respects their commitment to fight to the death as their duty.
I will wait to see what we find in that area.

Just so many...
Basically, it's all bats, all the way down.

Unpleasant thought, here: Is it possible that the warriors we just fought are some sort of aware- but relatively harmless- undead? That the prisoner was telling the whole truth? I know the MM doesn't include any 'sentient zombies', but it wouldn't be the first time someone homebrewed a creature to fit their world.

Re: In the Mind of Man (ooc and questions V)
I thought they were not undead. I tried to turn them and the attempt would normally have turned ghouls and shadows even.
Re: In the Mind of Man (ooc and questions V)
I didn't remember the turning attempt. So, that probably rules out that idea. But there's something odd about them- maybe it is just that they're devout death cultists. *shrug*

It could be similar to say 'haunts' who are tied to a specific area and don't free roam, but my understanding would be though a 'turn undead' does not drive them from a specific area, it would still quell them from attacking if successful.
Re: In the Mind of Man (ooc and questions V)
If Inferno's childish prose is any indication, he does not have the imagination to spring homebrew monsters on us. I wouldn't worry.
