Oh, okay.
My bad trying to speed this along.
Would you like me to have players re-roll? Or can I keep the current rolls and adjudicate Wake's draw last?
Oh, okay.
The plaques are situated in a very old, long, narrow, decorative ebony box. The box doesn't appear to have any lock on it, and the hinge on the top of one of the long sides indicates that it must open like a small coffin. A warning of some kind is written in common inside the box lid: Pick A Card, Any Card, But Only One Card Each, Unless Instructed Otherwise. The ivory plaques disappear once their boon/bane is fulfilled.Monsieur Rose wrote: ↑Fri Oct 01, 2021 4:31 pm The Princess
She thanks Amun and watches with curiosity the picking of tiles. "That is incredible! You say you picked one, felt strange and compelled to pick another? And that one manifested the carpet?!"
"I've heard of such things, decks, I think. Did the tile you pick vanish? Can I look at the box?" The Princess examines the box without taking any tiles, if allowed.
Keg
Feanol, the frail elven mage, barely able to carry herself up to the box, takes her pick in front of Elnaerel, finding an extremely interesting plaque pop out of the deck for her. The once weak and sickly elf, with all manner of health issues from her past, suddenly feels much more invigorated. The color returns to her cheeks and her once boney appearance is instantly altered quite noticeably. Though still unable to rip doors from their frames, for the first time in her life Feanol feels like she has the strength to concur anything she faces. (+3 STR)
Keg looks at the card and feels.... off... Just not right. Sure of himself, but not right. I say, I feel quite queer after that... I feel like I should draw another...
