Looking at the hex map that was done earlier, I was thinking of going clockwise from our current position and working through all of the sub-hexes that we did not move through. Once we get to the west side where the second group did not find anything, move further west and start a clockwise motion through the sub-hexes that immediately border the large hex we were in and continue out like that. It is slow but allows us to move in a controlled way.

Otherwise, find another bird or such and ask for directions.

What are the nature of the humans we are searching for? Is it something the treants might support?

I felt we were trying to find whatever humanoids the hawk mentioned. They would probably not mind if we made sure they did not intrude on thier space.

Von Alric, I'll note they were already talking to us, so I didn't ruin your stealth. The treants were already in parlay mode.

Nah, that's cool. Gardo was just trying to be the big shot and keep the others safe at a distance.

And, I wouldn't have said they were in parlay mode, more like "say the wrong thing and we kick your butt" mode.

There is a good chance the Treents will know who the two-legs are, and whether they are human. They might also know about Burnnkenkrayn. If the dragon has a breath that rots vegetation, they might be willing to help us in some way.

I'm not 100% up on the story before. How time sensitive is our pursuit of these two humans and/or the dragon?

Not sure who the two humans are (although you've got leads on two different bandit leaders), but the dragon's not super time sensitive (that you know of). Like, you guys aren't going to be penalized for picking one hook over another, although shit'll still be happening in the world, independent on your actions.

Gardo can't help himself. He's not like some guys who won't stop and ask for directions. ;)

I updated the Planning post. Speaking of which, I feel like some of these were resolved in our downtime. Can somebody check them out?

--We have engaged Madame Helmmarma to research Green Dragons and Death on the Wind / Burnnkenkrayn. 500 gp downpayment, 1500 gp owed. Should be complete around Fifthmonth, Fifteenthday
--We have engaged Reker Nus to research Green Dragons and Burnnkekrayn. We have his resource for 8 months until Twelfthmonth, Fifteenthday.
--We have engaged Jadas in Alice to produce two potions "that help resist the effect of its poisonous breath". 150gp down payment, 1350 gp owed. Should be complete around Fifthmonth, Twentysixthday
