Re: Chapter 5: Harvest of Death
Delsenora wakes to see what is going on. Egon sneaks along and scouts the goblin scouts and confirms it is 3 all smacking and slapping each other really rather poor scouts. They finally notice how many of you are awake and looking for them they gulp and turn ready to flee being outnumbered the sight of Del and her giant ferrets truly unnerves the goblins. Xlore also sneaks about and confirms the number of scouting goblins is only 3. Trist scans the area and find nothing in the immediate area other than the 3 bumbling goblin scouts that are attempting to flee now.

Re: Chapter 5: Harvest of Death
is anyone going to attempt to stop the goblins that are not trying to flee? Xlore. Egon, Trist, Elanriel are all within range to try and ambush or attack and stop them, everyone else that has stated is awake and seeing what is going on can range attack if they so wish.

Elanriel
Elanriel joins the others in the 'ambush'.
Long Sword 1w fighting: [1d20+2]=2+2=4 to hit, damage: [1d8+2]=3+2=5
Hmm .... Perhaps this new sword isn't much better at hitting things after all.
ooc: I didn't add any extra bonus for the new sword as I don't think I know what it is yet (only 'better balanced and sharper than normal' => So probably +1 to hit and dmg?). However, with that roll, I don't see it making a difference!
Some ambush this turned out to be

Weston
Seeing the others react to stop the goblins, the cleric scrambles to his feet and tries to get one of the creatures with his sling:
Sling: to-hit [1d20+2]=9+2=11, dmg [1d4+1]=2+1=3

Xlore
Is surprised and a bit confused as to what's going on but with some quick thinking, the high elf brings out his longbow and fires an arrow at the nearest goblin.
Long Bow [1d20]=16 [1d6+1]=6+1=7

Goblin Scouts - Escaping!
Xlore manages to shoot one of the goblins down using his bow. bows get two shots per round roll another attack please.
Elanriel runs after one of the fleeing goblins but doesn't manage to stop him.
Egon stumbles trying to stop one of the 3 fleeing goblins, tripping on his own feet the dwarf falls. roll dex or drop primary weapon.
Therick unable to do anything just watches the spectacle.
Trist sends Jivet off to "have fun" unsure what that means but if you intend to have Jivet attack feel free to roll the attack.
Weston stops a second one with his sling, knocking the creature in the head and it is knocked unconscious. not dead but very close.
pending some additional rolls here we might have one escaped goblin scout.
Actions?

Xlore
Keeping calm, Xlore fires another arrow from his longbow at another goblin.
Long Bow [1d20]=12 [1d6+1]=3+1=4
ooc/ - sorry I didn't know that bows can fire two shots. My first time using a bow in D&D.

Re: Chapter 5: Harvest of Death
Interrogating a Goblin having defeated the bumbling goblin scouting party the one left breathing is tied up and held in a place for the group to question for information. Once the goblin comes too he starts to panic flailing about trying to break free from his bindings. He says something franticly in his native tongue the only bit you make out is something about "The queen." and harming the goblin and his entire family.
Found on the other two dead goblins you find one with a short sword (rusty, battered condition), and the other with a light crossbow and only 3 bolts (crossbow in weathered condition). Between the 2 there is only 2 sp and 12 cp worth of coins. The captive goblin has a crude spear.
