I just didn't want to get too far ahead of things and overwhelm TK, since we are still in discussions with Father Varis and Captain Arthol.

Ever since the last battle with the plant, I have been looking for something that will toughen Bregalad up for battle (information about magical armor, a protective spell, etc). That's why I brought his desire to visit an armorer and Bethany the Bold. I figure that if I do not have him actively looking, I should not expect something to come his way. If there is not time to role play this piece, is there something else Bregalad can do? Say, he spreads 100gp at the Inn and taverns, looking for information? (If there is no time, and the group wishes to jump right into another mission, then he will wait for his next opportunity in Threshold.)

Also, I'll probably be cleaning up the Treasure List pretty soon now that we are back in town and selling off our accumulated treasures, so you might take a look at the list to make sure that any magic items or other special items with your name attached to them have been moved over to your character sheets.

@Finglas: I took TK's comments to mean for mundane equipment found on standard equipment lists in the DD Rulebook (arrows, rations, normal armor, normal shields, non-fashionable purses, etc.). I too am hoping to do some other things in town while we are here (including paying a visit to Myraal the Guild Mage), and the party can certainly make time for those things, even if we decide to start a new mission right here in Threshold.

I understand what you are saying about working for our potions, BUT I would like to make sure that our group is prepared right now for anything that will happen in the next few days. So getting healing potions are important while here Threshold. We have some honeycomb, and that only works for clearing poison, and cure disease. We have some healing kits to bind wounds. We have two clerics. Do we need healing potions? Do we need one more cure poison? Lanny, it seems you are keeping up with those things. Just let me know what you would like me to do.

If we stay in Threshold for a while this is Innana's intentions, but can change if necessary;

Innana can also practice her blacksmith skills, not that it will really matter for level or anything for a while, but she can maybe help with shields and horse shoes while in threshold. Only if there is time that we are just frolicking about.

Innana is not leveled high enough to do any weapons skills yet, so I intend to just hang out with random members of the group if they want me to go with them (just ask her), otherwise, I will be mingling with the women and children of the village trying to get to the bottom of what is happening here in Threshold. In my experience, the women pretty much always know the dealio. If it is alright for her to help with the metal work, Innana could also be found at the forge.

Innana, potions are available (even if at limited quantities) in a couple of different places: the temples and the apothecary are two of them, for example. TK's comment about having to earn our magical items the hard way refers (as I read it) mainly to permanent items, like magic weapons, and items that enable the casting of spells, like scrolls and spellbooks.

We should try to get a few potions before leaving town again, Drudsa will certainly check what the apothecary has in stock and if any members of the group will be visiting the guild he will likely join them.

Sounds good to me Zeb. I suggest that once we regroup and meet back at the inn, we discuss the situation and take a vote on how to proceed, knowing what we know. Once that is done, we'll have the remainder of the day to take care of our various errands.

Treasure List updated. 5320 gp per 8 PCs, 1330 gp Semele.

Lanny will get 20 platinum coins (100 gp value), 5 gems (1000+500+100+50+10 = 1660 gp value), and then take a bill of exchange for the rest of his deposit.

Lanny will purchase or order the following potions:

1 Potion of Healing
1 Potion of Antidote
1 Potion of Fire Resistance (on behalf of the entire group)

I suppose if everyone wants a potion of healing and a potion of antidote we could fast-track things by purchasing/ordering 10 of each. However, I do not want to assume that everyone wants one or both, so if you are in favor of this idea, please second it. If we do just purchase/order them individually, Lanny will offer to buy one of each for Rhys as well (if Rhys declines, Lanny will respect his wishes). Lanny does not expect such a large order to be completed in three days, but if it is, he will make sure that Oleg gets a huge tip!

What I am looking for from everybody

1)By the time you guys are done at Oleg's it will be about 12:00 in the afternoon.
2)I think this would be a good time to reconvene and decide on a course of action for the near future. I know Lanny had floated a "Grand Loop" plan, and there are still a couple of people interested in gathering more hooks over the next few days. However, I would like to see a consensus reached on the intentions for the next few days in as much detail as possible. This can be done either IC or OOC.
3)I know there are some people who are kind of just twiddling their thumbs, so I would like things to move along pretty quickly while in town or involve everyone. I know there's a bunch of shit that can be done, but it is really easier for me if you guys do everything as a group, at least when it comes to time-management. That being said, I know Bregalad wants to investigate rumors for better armor, and Innana wants to hang out with other ladies, etc. If you would like to do something other than what the group is doing please indicate so.
4)My intention is to get a bit of a flow-chart going, so I can see what everyone is doing, for how long, etc.
5)Finglas, did I every give you an answer about Bregalad's shield being repaired?
6)If anyone else has asked questions that I have yet to address please do so now OOC.

(Sorry for the light post rate the last few days. On vacation from yesterday through Saturday. Trying to keep up with things while away and... honestly, not really succeeding that well.

I'll get an IC post in tonight, but basically Rhys wants to:
- be available for when the Baron gets his message and be ready to do anything required.
- assist the city with the issues it is currently having with the thieves' guild and the troubles on the isle.
- he has not voiced the opinion yet IC, but Rhys is going to be on the lookout for a magical sword in the immediate future. He cannot boost his AC by any means, so he wants to be as potent a person in a fight as he can possibly be.

Son just woke up from his nap, so I've got to leave the hotel lobby and get back up to the room. Again, will update IC later this evening.
