Re: "Endgame: OOC Planning Discussion"
Yeah, I think your team have things under control.
Re: "Endgame: OOC Planning Discussion"
I was just going to post to say that although Frank has used his action he can still give orders, speak etc this turn.
And (although it's probably academic) Frank shot the grenadier (who was "stranded" due to lack of action points) so it was his buddy the regular/vanilla falxman who found his escape route blocked by the scattered grenade. With more AP for movement he would have got further away from the stateroom door (and Frank).
Apologies, the above probably wasn't at all clear from the narrative.
And a grateful GM awards Prerna the Brian Rix Award for generously allowing the introduction of bedroom farce to the sci fi genre.

Apart from unnecessarily shouting "Grenade" I'm not sure there's anything else Frank wants to say this round

Re: "Endgame: OOC Planning Discussion"
The hanger deck of the Bartizan... Is that the deck where we think the Zhodani operative killed all the techs?
Re: "Endgame: OOC Planning Discussion"
Prerna also gets the Marquis of Granby award for not allowing vanity to stand in the way of military necessity and going "bald-headed" (kinda) into action.
In 1760, at the Battle of Warburg, the Marquis led a cavalry charge which routed the French, losing his hat and wig in the process. In recognition of this, soldiers of the Blues and Royals (his former regiment) have the unique privilege in the British Army of being permitted to salute while not wearing headgear. Granby's losing his helmet and wig in the charge gave rise to the expression 'going bald-headed' at something.
Being a good egg he's also quite a large number of British pubs...
More stuff you just didn't need to know...

Re: "Endgame: OOC Planning Discussion"

LOL re conga.
With the delegates secure this is a good time to have an officers chat, swap info and plan the next move, there's plenty to do, and hopefully Erica can help cast some light, so we may want to move to the med bay.
I suggest we leave Prerna and Jess's squads on guard in the VIP area for now while we discuss what's next.
There are plenty of optons:
1. Secure rest of quarters including garage.
2. What was the shadow in the pool area, recover what's left if the barons guard and beau
3. Handle the pirates
4. What's happened to the baron
5. Interrogate the prisoner.
6. what to do about the approaching ship

Re: "Endgame: OOC Planning Discussion"
How many do we need for the following:
1. Guard the VIP area
2. Guard the south, including the garage
3. get surveillance back on the roof.
How about we get Baker and Easy back on the roof. We send the TAC team to relieve Dog & Love to the south and secure the area (incl. garage) properly, they know the area the best. Dog and Love could then secure the VIP area, but will need others to help them, maybe Caxton and Oscar?
That covers north and south, but does it free up enough for us to expand out? I think the first call is to save whatever is left of the guard, their numbers would be useful, but that does mean we'd need to take on the pirate. Oh if we'd just executed them
how many were there?
Or perhaps we should find the Baron first, although I think we need to head in the direction of the guards via the pool area anyway to do that.

Re: "Endgame: OOC Planning Discussion"
I can answer this!
Caxton and Oscar advanced north with Jess' cavalry and are currently holding the crossroads with Beau's squad (Caxton acting as squad leader in the absence of Beau).

Re: "Endgame: OOC Planning Discussion"
Aha, I thought that might be the case, I shall update my earlier post
Thanks muchly
Ok, so if we send Jess's squad to look after the south and garage, then I think we need 2 more to join Dog and Love guarding the VIP area, but who?

Re: "Endgame: OOC Planning Discussion"
Prerna plans to ask Erica about the incoming ships as soon as she reaches the medbay.

Re: "Endgame: OOC Planning Discussion"
Yeah, now we have names for the ships too, and this loki, which is likely their on-surface asset.
Seems it's even more essential we get Jess's crew to secure the garage so we can get comms setup with The Star.

Re: "Endgame: OOC Planning Discussion"
Sorry Tiglath, just to confirm:
The Cav squad is heading south and has just reached the garage
The dips are now all in the secure area and the have enough units securing the VIP area
Frank is at the med-bay/HQ
Erica has taken off to the west (apparently)
Apologies, I've lost track slightly
just trying to understand the situation to decide which fire needs attention next

Re: "Endgame: OOC Planning Discussion"
Not at all - you have a very accurate tactical appreciation of a dynamic situation!shaidar wrote: ↑Thu Mar 04, 2021 6:20 am Sorry Tiglath, just to confirm:

All of the above are correct.
And, yes - there is quite a lot happening all at once!

Re: "Endgame: OOC Planning Discussion"
I'm guessing that the cavalry squad would be better with an officer in charge?
Re: "Endgame: OOC Planning Discussion"
Voss seems like he has taken on that role.
As he was nearest when the "balloon went up".

Re: "Endgame: OOC Planning Discussion"
Cool, it sounds like Jess isn't up to it, or she would have been the obvious choice.
OK, that's the immediate issue of the garage under control (my guess is pirates trying to commandeer their (our) gig)
OK, now to ponder what to do next.
