just remembered, that 100k from the G-Belt, it should go to getting the Flight Ops up and running, generate some income.

I think the 40k refurb includes a new radar and getting flight-ops up, so the refurb and workshop from the 100k still sounds good.
The 10k left would cover half of the missile system and we draw the rest from reserve.

Lietz makes a good point about basic ammo. We should probably spend a chunk of that 10k on increasing the ammo/grenade buy. I'd budgeted for 10x DS, 5x HE per weapon on the ACR and 10 mags each on the Gauss ( which, because it has a full auto option and a big mag, is the Squad Support Weapon ). Probably double the ACR, quintruple the Gauss, would be better.
There was 5.4k left of the initial budget, that buys either the basic ammo for both weapons again or another 150 mags Gauss.

Let's calculate what ammo and munitions the unit is carrying at any one time, and then say that we will use all of that in a single engagement. After that, we can estimate how many engagements we may fight, whether it's one per day, or one per week. Once we have those numbers, then we can add a safety margin to get a reasonable loadout for the deployment.The Bindoner wrote:Lietz makes a good point about basic ammo. Attached is a revised OOB, based on the fact that we will have 20 people besides the five of us. I've set up a chart with preliminary ammo loadouts for each position, including our basic loads. We can modify things from there.

Err...you do know you could put that on the Google spreadsheet and not have to pass it around, right? The spreadhseet would also give you columns for weapons, Morale, etc.

We have several support weapons, don't we?
RAM GL, PGMP, HMG...
But only a couple of people rated in Heavy Weapons. Caxton on Auto, Jess on Missiles and.. well, Autocannon at present but perhaps that's Maingun... Anyone got Launcher or MPA?

Good work on the spreadsheets, thanks.
I have a few questions:
When I open The Bindoner's spreadsheet I don't see any names assigned? Is this just me.
With Joe's spreadsheet, I think we need to keep Dubs and Voss separate from the standard troop positions as they are specialist and likely to have their own weapon loadouts. Dubs is our comns/tech guy, and Voss doesn't use rifles, he only uses pistols so will need his own specific ammo (that's why I suggested he gets the 2 navy gauss pistols, they're better than his current machine pistols)

Eh, spreadsheets, never used 'em. Work in the arts.
I suggest:
Skip with Able as Corporal, Dog. Ink and Love as troopers
Prerna with Corporal Baker and Trooper Easy
Frank with Voss as Adjutant and Dubbs on Comms and EW as HQ with Caxton's Technical ( assisted by Freddie and Oscar ) attached
Jakob with Corporal Route One and troopers George, Jonny and Nuts
Jess with Corporal Charlie and 'arry, King and Nuts as troopers.
One Guass in each squad.
I suggest:

I was wondering about shares. As joint founders it feels right to me that Frank, Jess and Prerna get equal shares. Currently, based on rank, Frank gets 10, Prerna 8 and Jess 7. I would be happy for Frank to take a cut to 8 to match Prerna and then we boost Jess to 8 so we match up. I may be worrying about this too much.
