Hrothgar's pain medication has worn off and he looks out through the grate of the carrier with utter disdain and matted fur where drool is coming out of one side of his mouth.
Sam walks with the cat to Ed Walker's - taking in his surroundings on the way - and is eager to look at the menu for all of the delicious vegetable based dishes they have.
Outside:
As he scans through the menu he is able to spot a number of salads as well as a Boca burger.

Sam inspects the billboard menu from Ed Walker's for salads and doesn't see an immediate option available. He looks around in the area of the restaurant and all of the patrons to see what everyone is eating before starting a long and complicated conversation with the person at the ordering station about how they could create a salad from miscellaneous garnishes from other meals. Hrmm... I guess I could get some fried pickles.
I'll have one order of fried pickles and a water...oh, and could I have a cup of water and a slice of cheese for my cat?
After ordering Sam looks around to gauge the reactions of the patrons to his order.
Sam easily sees that the Drive-in has been expanded several times over from the original driven, but the latest "add on" couldn't be newer than 40 or 50 years. Still, it is clean and comfortable. The decor is fittingly retro with a hodgepodge of 1940's through 1980's Americana.
Soon he has his drink and order brought over by a middle-aged woman with a smile.
Here you go... Anything else we can get you?
The patrons seem to be okay with the cat though it gets a few stares before people go back to their meal. Classic rock plays over the speakers but is not too loud so that it is distracting. There are a couple TVs tucked into corners showing sports news. Sam will notice a couple cars pull in and flash their headlights. Within moments there is a waitress outside at the driver's window, taking their orders. It is a real old fashioned drive in.
