So there has only been one TPK in this adventure so far? Sounds like things just got started, then.

On November 2nd I will be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.

I prefer to call them team building activities!Scott308 wrote:So there has only been one TPK in this adventure so far? Sounds like things just got started, then.

Hi, everyone. I'm looking forward to playing with some new people and with some old players with a new look!
Down to the nitty-gritty:
Both of the existing characters are attractive to me, but I reckon I'd rather create one for myself. Looking at the party balance, it seems to me that the group is in most dire need of a thief and a second cleric.
Thoughts?

Hi everyone,
I'm looking forward to playing this with you all!
I'm thinking I'll probably play a Fighter. I have some initial ideas around T-NU "Tina" the Robot Huntress (Robot/Xena)

Well, Scott, would you rather be a cleric or a thief? Or something else?

Depending on what others' preferences are, I could also go for a cat-person thief. So, let me know if you guys think that would be helpful? Our family cat has a few ideas in that department that I'm sure I could flesh out
I'm not going to go for a spellcaster, as I'm not that familiar with AD&D 1e and want to keep it simple. So, somebody else would need to pick up the cleric, if we're going to have another one.

Could a mole-man be a cleric? I know they use dwarf racial stats, and dwarf clerics only exist as NPCs.
If Kinkajou is leaning thief, and Scott is howling at the moon, it may be on me to be the spare healer in the group. I'm OK with it.

We had a Mole-Man cleric PC, so I must have allowed it.

Wolf-men can be thieves, fyi.
That said, for my own selfish purposes, I'd like everyone to play whatever they are most excited by, whatever inspires them and will be the most fun for them.
I find that players stick with a game longer that way.
If the party is short on thieves, I can NPC Chaka.

Is it OK to buy a beast of burden?

The PCs are shipwrecked. The animal wouldn't have survived.

I've got a virtual game convention this weekend, so I don't know how much time I'll have to spend on the Servant.

For sure, Kinkajou! Posts like that will, for lack of a better expression, flesh out your robot.
