Back To Work
Freeday, 19th of Goodmonth
Early Morning, Partly Cloudy, Warm, Humid
In a sudden flash of action, combat with the charging minotaur erupts through the ranks. Gramble gets so excited to finally be able to swing his huge ax at something, he trips over an exposed tree root and begins to stumble forward.
(Give me a normal [3d6] Dex check to see if he falls completely. If you pass you can resume the attack this round)
Alordan and Cresty also step up towards the action, bracing their attacks against the charging bullman. The ranger wonders out loud where the creatures keep coming from as his strike misses the mark. Cresty however, finally finds a target he is intending to hit, stabbing his sword deep into the midsection of the oncoming charger. The beast roars from the pain as it too delivers a strong hack with its mighty double bladed ax, hitting the paladin hard and cutting him deeply.

The spell casters in the group react just as quickly, three of them tossing their magic at the same time. Tlachtga summons a large patch of the heavy foliage around the monster to come alive to secure it where it stands. Unable to target only the attacker, she drops her spell in the area directly in front of her position, sending the remainder of it away from her and back into the jungle. Sadly, she also unintentionally traps the charging Alordan and Cresty in its area as well, along with her dog Cu, who also leaped in to bite the minotaur unsuccessfully.
(Sorry Rex, but that spell has an area affect and cant be cast directly upon an enemy. I'll need a save vs. Spells from those three in order to attack again this round.)
Saracen pulls out a polished circle of shiny glass and prays for Pholtus to send down a ray from the sun that he can direct towards the aggressor. The beam hits the bullman square in its face, burning and blinding it with light and pain as its facial fur singes. It howls out even louder as it thrashes around in natures bonds. Andronichishche calls on the power of his god, calling for even more light to surround the eyes of the attacking monster. It is now clearly very, very blinded.
Maag trots across the standing stones at the top of the ring of huge rocks. He is about to leap down upon the minotaur for a crippling back attack when he spots the foliage around the monster and his friends alike come to life, attempting to hold them all in place right where they stand.
