Greetings!
Greetings!
Hello. My name is Tom and I've been involved in role playing games for....
Jesus Christ. Forty years. Um, anyway, I've been involved in pbems for twenty years, starting with Star Trek and then super hero. I mostly GM because admittedly I'm a very temperamental player.
What else? I lean more towards sci-fi than fantasy, I'm a massive Kate Bush fan. I love pro wrestling and I write articles for The Agony Booth. Oh, and I own a cat. Honeybear. I didn't name her, she's a rescue. Not that it matters because I'm sure she's given herself a cool name like Amberdeath or something.
Anyway, glad to be here.

Greetings Tom and welcome to the community!

Welcome Tom! I feel like we've "met" on Facebook or LinkedIn or somewhere.
But while Unseen Servant started out with fantasy PbPs we've had (and have) several incredible SciFi games rocking with a variety of systems. I think our longest Sci-Fi (and one of our longest overall) is the Star Wars d6 game that Max_Vale is running over here: viewforum.php?f=124
Hopefully you find a game to your liking here. I've played PbEMs and PbPs on different sites (with different formats) and USS's forum format is the best (for me) that I've found. Enjoy the place, and ask questions - the members here are ridiculously supportive and cool.
Be well and be welcome!

This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.

Welcome to the forums! Cheers for being a Fish Person.

OK, I'll allow this. And we are actually pretty ridiculous, anyway.-ly supportive and cool.

On November 2nd I will be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.

Scott is true on all accounts.
