How does Hothhil look now?

Do the people burying him notice anything odd or unusual about him now that he is dead? (other than what's already in your write-up) Any obvious signs of his Lycanthropy?

I don't want to miss any clues just chucking him in the clay. :D

What would the characters know about lycanthropes- would they know silver is harmful to them? Should we leave a silver arrow embedded in the corpse when it gets buried to try to prevent a change?

I decided to answer this in the IC thread. :)

Ingrid's background is that of a monster-hunter steeped in rustic folklore. I'll rule she's heard the legend that says werewolves are vulnerable to silver.

Also, Ingrid is the last survivor of the three heroes that perused the secret library in Vicar's Head. The silver myth was recorded there as well among the parchments and tomes.

I ain't gonna lie, the gnome fighter with a -2 AC makes me smile a bit. But while Rudolph would definitely steal, er, receive the ring graciously from his comrades, he hopefully will have more opportunities in the future to stay out of the thick of it and attack from behind. Thus taking advantage of less magical means of protection.

Of course recent battles notwithstanding :D
This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.
Alethan: I'm good with NOT pressing our luck this time.
mjulius: That's how I know I'm home.
Pulpatoon: The whole point of PbP is to take the scheduling pressure off the game. We're just chatty because we're so eager!
Scott308: ...everyone should be reminded of just how wonderful the people they play games with here can be in real life.
Leitz: Quality and quantity wise, I think US is the best I've seen.
Paladin: I can promise terror, glory, and riches...or a quick and brutal death.
Inferno: Come on! That's was Vicar's Head, a completely different doomed village!
Rex: I can move to the wait list to let someone else into the game.

I tried to look over the sheets to see who could use it the most, but it doesn't seem like everyone has an accurate AC listed.

I just peeked at Inferno's list at the bottom of his Chapter posts. I didn't even think about them being outdated.
Ah well. If someone needs it they'll speak up. :D

rings of protection don't reduce AC of anyone with metal armor, tat's why Brevos didn't take it, and figured the spell caster with leather could get use out of it. Bo's entagles have saved us several times.

Actually Brevos could have taken it. It isn't metal armor, but magic armor (which is a rule I don't remember!)
Ron's DMG, pg 130 wrote:The ring does not add to armor value if magical armor is worn, although it does add to saving throw die rolls.

Of course Inferno may HR it some other way too. But the full quote (minus the protection values) from the DMG is:

Ring of Protection: A ring of protection increases the wearer’s armor class value and saving throws versus all forms of attack. A +1 ring raises AC by 1, say from 10 to 9 and gives a bonus of +1 on saving throw die rolls. The magical properties of a ring of protection are cumulative with all other magical items of protection except as follows:

1. The ring does not add to armor value if magical armor is worn, although it does add to saving throw die rolls.

2. More than 1 ring of protection operating on the same person, or in the same area, do not combine protection; only one - the strongest, if applicable - will function, so a pair of +2 protection rings are still only +2.

To determine the value of the protection ring use the table below:

01-70 +1
71-82 +2
83 +2, 5‘ radius protection
91 +3, 5’ radius protection
84-90 +3
92-97 +4 on AC, +2 on saving throws
98-00 +6 on AC, + 1 on saving throws

The radius bonus of 5’ extends to all creatures within its circle, but applies only to their saving throws, i.e. only the ring wearer gains armor class additions.
This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.

I am definitely cool with it going to someone who needs it more than Bo, if there is such a character.

Yes please.

Ingrid's post lists the current hit points, here: viewtopic.php?p=429756#p429756
It looks like everyone is in good shape now except Ingrid herself who remains at 9 hit points out of 22.

OGRE MAGE wrote:Can we hunt or snare in our down time while resting? Bo would use his magic to aid in this process.

Great. No need for anyone to deduct rations then.
I figured the ranger and the druid might be able to help but didn't want to presume. :)

OGRE MAGE wrote:Also, Bo will continue to use his magic to attempt to locate his bird, or any more plant life for his spells.
No sign of Sephus in the strangely silent wood.
Many plants are hard to come by this late in the season at this altitude. But Bo had recovered his spell components with his gear. :)
