Hi, I'm new in this PbP way of play

#1 Post by Gabrielvs »

Hi, my name is Gabriel, I'm from Uruguay, South America.
I have been looking for a place where I could learn more about Play by Posting because I wanted to start playing like this with my group of friends, because we don't have much time to gather, and after a recommendation I've decided to create an account here and see if I can learn something.

My favourite games are S&W Complete and Delving Deeper.

I'm fairly new to the hobby, I started playing trpg last year, and that would be it, I hope you can teach me a few thing while we have fun playing something.

Welcome Gabriel!!
I’d say those games are right in our wheelhouse!!!
Not that we turn any game down, I think we may have just about every edition of D&D happening here, as well as a ton of more obscure games. It’s an eclectic, but supportive group! You’ll like it here!
Just FYI as an anti-spam measure your first two posts are Moderated. After those are approved you are good to go to post, PM and play games without delay.
Welcome and happy gaming!!

This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.
Alethan: I'm good with NOT pressing our luck this time.
mjulius: That's how I know I'm home.
Pulpatoon: The whole point of PbP is to take the scheduling pressure off the game. We're just chatty because we're so eager!
Scott308: ...everyone should be reminded of just how wonderful the people they play games with here can be in real life.
Leitz: Quality and quantity wise, I think US is the best I've seen.
Paladin: I can promise terror, glory, and riches...or a quick and brutal death.
Inferno: Come on! That's was Vicar's Head, a completely different doomed village!
Rex: I can move to the wait list to let someone else into the game.

Welcome to the Unseen Servant, Gabriel!!

PbP is a bit different than tabletop play, but it isn't too hard to learn the ropes here.

Enjoy! :D

Welcome aboard!
On November 2nd I will be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.

Hello Gabriel! From France here. I too have played S&W Core and Complete and enjoyed both immensely. It is one of my go-to systems to use. Easy to use and house rule. I have Delving Deeper but have not had a chance to play it.
