Hi!

I'm new here. I haven't been on a forum like this in over ten years, which is exciting for me.

I cut my teeth on tabletop gaming running Dread (a jenga-based horror game) with friends, though mostly I've played D&D (3.5, 4E, 5E) and Pathfinder since. Currently running Reign of Winter (Pathfinder) with some friends using Discord and Roll20. We're about 3 years into that campaign and we've been playing together every week since 2012. It's been a great way to keep in touch over the years. Last summer, we organized a meetup where we played Pathfinder for about 38 hours across a 48 hour time period.

One of the most bizarre gaming experiences I had was when I organized an impromptu game of Fiasco during my friend's bachelor party. We somehow pulled off a 12-man game with people who'd never played any kind of RPG before, which I think says a lot about that system's flexibility as well as the power of alcohol.

Outside of the world of tabletop, I work in the gaming industry as a writer and project manager. I'm American, but I've been fortunate enough to find work that has allowed me to live in a variety of places abroad. I currently live in the UK, though I spent most of my 20s in China.
