Meanwhile, I've registered for the dice roller but no sign of my registration confirmation email so I can't access it yet.
Ah I wondered about the PMing. I kept getting 'PM deleted by sender' messages. Thought you were hitting the wrong button or something :D You have to be patient, as they sit in your Outbox until the recipient logs on and receives them.

I'm in North Hampshire. Guildford area by post code. How about you?

Maybe ping one of the admins a message or post about the dice roller. They all seem very friendly and helpful here.

Thanks for that, Captain. Patience never been my strong suit ;) I'm in Aberdeen, so opposite end of the country. But I'm going to a few cons in England this year so wondered if you ever went to any.

Ah Bonnie Scotland! I have a fondness for the Highlands, having been up there on holiday many a time when growing up - though more West Coast and Central Highlands than your neck of the woods, Malc. I also have relatives in Edinburgh and Arbroath, so I consider myself pretty much part Scottish (the name is 'Bruce' after all ;)) but it's been some years now since I ventured north of the border.

No cons for me I'm afraid. With family commitments, my roleplaying is strictly Internet-enabled these days :D I just about manage to squeeze in one evening a week in an online game, with my newfound PBP habit creating a marked resurgence in roleplaying fortunes as a consequence of fitting rather nicely into odd bits of the day around other things.

And it's an exciting first post back!
I did enjoy London - a great town! :)

And I see there are quite a few posts to respond to!

I will make an updated game post within the next couple hours (gotta get kids down!) FYI - not all the PC actions will happen, but I'll incorporate those that work. And thanks for the correction to the damage die - I will update that too!

Hey guys, sorry for being quiet. Today has been killer. I won't get a post in today unfortunately, but wanted to let you know that I am here.

Post coming tomorrow AM (DK time) - promise!

Bruce - spot on with the map. If I can figure out a good drawing/posting tool to use, I will start to post to relieve you of the duty. In the meantime, many thanks!

One more thing - I have a biz trip to the States this Sun-Tue. I plan on posting for sure, but the hours might seem a bit off! ;)

Thanks for hanging in there with me, guys!

No sweat. If I'm honest I don't mind doing it. I was just giving Malc a hard time ;)

I wish I could tell you that it was a really neat dungeon mapping tool but I'm afraid I'm just knocking them together in PaintShop Pro 7.

My apologies to all of you. I have been away for a week, taking care of a family funeral. I have been away from a computer and unable to follow the post or participate.

I will catch up on posts this weekend.

We've barely started this dungeon crawl, and I'm enjoying it immensely already. Feels much more tense than any dungeon crawl I've previously experienced for some reason!

I entirely agree Matt. There's a great atmosphere and I'm really enjoying it too. It's all creepy and claustrophobic, just like it should be. I think this game has managed to hit a really good sword-and-sorcery tone. It feels way more like Conan et al prowling through dark and dangerous passageways than a typical dungeon crawl. More like a game of Call of Cthulhu. I'm loving the way everyone's playing it in that regard, like none of us has ever ventured into this kind of place before and the danger to the characters is real and visceral. Great stuff everyone! It's a pleasure to be PbPing with you all :D
