I signed on here because I saw a pbp game of Sharp Swords & Sinister Spells advertised and read good things about the community so thought I'd give it a try.
My gaming history begins way back in the late 70s, when I started out playing AD&D but I've had great games in a whole bunch of systems over the years (most incarnations of D&D, Traveller, Runequest, Rolemaster, V&V, Champions/Hero System, Call of Cthulhu, DC Heroes, World of Darkness/Storyteller, Trinity/Aberrant, L5R, The One Ring to name but a few). These days opportunities for face-to-face gaming are somewhat reduced but, with the resurgence (renaissance) of OSR, I'm keen to give some of the lighter systems like Whitehack, The Black Hack and SS&SS a try and hoping I'll get the opportunity here.
