Hallagad and the Unseen Servant return below, where Malibran administers more holy healing. The monk steeples his hands and nearly all of his wounds heal through mystical and secret body discipline. Odilo downs a potion.

Risdac Egargi

If we can dispel the barrier, we may very well be able to take control of the ship. Unfortunately,
I am nowhere near powerful enough to dispel the enchantment Emerikol has placed on this ship.
If Emerikol does not wish us to go somewhere, we won't. I'm not going to waste a spell trying.
On November 2nd I will be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. The Unseen Servant bows in gratitude to Malibran.

Then he nods at the words of the gargantuan wizard and asks, "Are we ready to continue exploring below deck?"

Odilo shrugs and stretches afterwards "I guess so, I'm about as close as I am going to get to being back to normal for now without using my last potion. I also agree with Risdac based on the information provided I would not wish to waste a spell either."

Malibran is ready to go assuming he has rested to recover all spells. Prior to advancing, he will cast Light on his shield to help provide some additional illumination.

Tanner

The warrior has waited at the base of the ladder, half-dozing where he stood. When the others return, he nods. Yes, let's see what else we can find -ahem- 'below decks'.

Rool Diov

Rool nods his appreciation to Malibran for the holy healing.

“I’m for exploring more below deck,” the crime boss offers. “We might find a passage to access the main deck or forecastle of the ship.”

Rool Diov, Underworld Entrepreneur

Using pieces of his thieves tools, iron spikes, jewelry and other items borrowed from his helladventuring comrades, Rool kneels on the floor and models out the below deck environs they have explored thus far.

Model:
Image
“I propose,” he begins, using an arrow to point out details. “We explore the newly exposed tunnel in the starboard wall (A) before moving forward. I’m not too keen on leaving a potential ambush route in our rear. The next avenue of attack would be the starboard corridor (B). Only then, I suggest, should we move to investigate the two “vulture” doors. (C & D). When we reach the spot below the ledges leading to the “vulture” doors, we will be able to illuminate the forward corridor (E) and determine its extent.”

The master thief stands after giving his presentation and looks around the room, “Any objections or concerns?”

Malibran nods, "That is a solid plan, Master Rool. Let us be double and triply cautious as we proceed. There could be a trap or ambush at any turn. We should move with purpose, but I counsel not without significant caution!"

Rool Diov

“Indeed, my wise friend,” Rool says in acknowledgment to Malibran’s caution. He then addresses all the spell casters. “Do we have any means of remote viewing? I can use my ring of invisibility to pad forward, but there might be scenarios where a magical reconnaissance is warranted.”

Malibran responds to the inquiry thoughtfully, "Indeed, Master Rool, another sound idea forged in foresight. I considered this when I contemplated which prayers to beseech the Mighty Pholtus grant me in his wisdom. I weighed the option of an infrequent and sensitive communication with His Grandeur versus the certainty of the need for defense and imminent healing. May Fate be kind in my preparedness to heal my comrades from what is likely to be certain harm."

Malibran scans the group as they proceed and now notices that Odilo still seems less confident in proceeding than Malibran knows him to be. "Come, Odilo, let the grace of Pholtus invigorate your fortitude!"

Cast cure serious wounds at Odilo

Odilo willingly and happily allows Malibran to heal him "My thanks to you Malibran." he says with a smile.

Hallagad finally speaks after returning to the hold. The desolation surrounding them has had some effect on him. He nods in agreement with Rool's plan and turns to Malibran. "Many thanks friend. Yes, let us proceed. The sooner we accomplish our task the sooner we return to our native plane."
