Anyone who failed their save is temporarily blinded, their eyes filling up with red glare.
Let me know what you guys are thinking for next round.

Re: 12 - Fight in the Forest
Mine was a pass correct? Or am I getting myself backwards again?

Re: 12 - Fight in the Forest
From inside the dome, you hear the following:
Vek -- "Couldn't leave your precious treasure behind. Is that what this was all for? Money?"
Vek -- "Don't you want to pay us to spare you?
Vek -- "Come on! Bribe us! Offer us treasure beyond our wildest imaginings! Tempt us, Fatman! ...with the ill gotten gains of child slavery."
Vek -- "All your money can't save you now."
Fat Man -- You meddling fools! I'll kill you all, with you being first!
Then you hear a distinct THWACK! then silence....

Glimble unsure what he can do being on the outside of the dome takes up his magical staff and rushes into the dome trying to get behind the fatman.

Roseheart listens as to what is likely his friend getting his ass kicked. He looks at this comrades desperately and then sighs at what has to be done.
Cast protection from evil upon himself.
Roseheart enters the red sphere after his friend.

Re: 12 - Fight in the Forest
Quick Resolution Explanation:
Roll#1 - who got there first (lowest roll got there first = Enoka)
Roll #2 - Dex check to stop running once you realize the danger, and hear Vek (Glimble made his easy, Roseheart botched by only 1 pt, so I'm going to have him roll a save for 1/4 or take 1/2 damage.
Leading the charge, Enoka in bear form leaps through the red dome to save Vek. A bright flash emanates, but those who aren't blinded are shielding their eyes, and they just hear a loud crackling noise, and the yowl of a bear as Enoka goes through the dome (Enoka, roll a save to take 20 damage, or 10 damage with a success).
As Vek realizes what is going on you hear him yell out ---"Wait. I'm all right! He's dead!"
Gimbal turns back at the last second, but Roseheart's momentum just carries one of his arms into the dome (Roll save vs spell - take 10 damage with a fail, and 5 damage with a success)

Glimble "Prove your the real Vek and not some imposter." the gnome cleric shouts back to the "vek" speaking.

Re: 12 - Fight in the Forest
Glimble hears a Thump! and something crackles against the interior of the dome.
Vek -- "That proof enough for you, Glimble?" he croaks wryly. But sort of trails off at the end, as he realizes that the object didn't make it through. Gimble thinks that maybe Vek kicked the fat man's head at him...
A moment later, "Garl is okay.
"How long will this dome remain, Roseheart?"
You guys wait it out and it does take a while, but eventually the dome collapses and Garl's paralysis drops away.
***still need saves for Roseheart and Enoka, but I don't think either of you are in danger of perishing, so it probably doesn't matter much
***
Ok - so once the dome drops you search the area, and recover the small chest which is literally brimming with treasure. Near the corpse of the Fat Man are two magic wands, and the fat man also has a silver dagger, a ring, and a small purse with several gems. The amount of loot is fairly staggering.
***I'll start working up the EXP, and give you guys an estimate of the items***

Tella - Elf Mage
Rubbing her sore eyes Tella will take it all in. Great job comrades, we live. Perhaps we put all the loot in the chest and haul it back to town? Does anyone need a healing potion?

Re: 12 - Fight in the Forest
Tantos Vek, failed paladin:
Uninterested in their new-gotten wealth, Vek smiles bleakly beside the decapitated body of the Fatman. He greets his friends warmly, at the end of this long terrible quest.
He pulls the "H" shield out from under his breastplate, wondering if that bought him safe passage through the flames. ...Or if it was something else?
Once everyone is healthy and ready, he'll help tow the treasure back to civilization.
Hi gang. We did it! Wow.
Vek can't use most of this magic loot. If it's determined to be defensive in nature, Vek might raise his hand for the ring. This 6th level fighter doesn't have a magic shield or armor. If the ring isn't defensive magic, Vek can always buy a magic shield.

Glimble "If anyone needs healing I have plenty of healing spells ready. As for the found items lets get everything back to our apartment house and deal with identifying and all that there."

Enoka:
save [1d20] = 13
Success.
Enoka still in bear form sniffs Vek to make sure this isn't a trick. Once satisfied she will revert back to human form and preform healing ritual on those that need it.
I got two cure lights. Other than Tella who else is in need?
